Born on a distant star she came to Earth to observe how they lived their lives. Despite promising not to intervene, she saw how bad a state humanity was in and decided to lend a helping claw.

After losing her ex-boyfriend to a rival girl at school she stole equipment from creys labs to fry her rival's sorry bum cheeks...feeling sorry for her she decided not to, but keep the stolen good anywho.

She's mutant origin, and was born with her powers, due to her mother being affected with a radiation leak (OK is possibly close to science)
One of her powers is inate, the emission of radiation, but it wasn't till she was in her 20s she learned how to control it. Just not sure who to say taught her, was going to have her picked up by an agency, but which one.... that's where I'm drawing a blank. She's also a trained Psychologist, and Criminal Psychologist was her previous ocupation, and I guess still her current one
Dark's easy, he's a fallen angel trying to make his way back into god's good graces. His powers are natural to him, and he wasn't born, or trained he just knew how to use them. As he did more and more good he got more powerful because he was doing the right thing. (though with some of his attitude at time's he'd come close to being a villain, he believes no human is truely inocent for a start, so his actions cant harm an inocent)

Biography: Before her birth her mother was infected by a radiation leak from National City. The leak was kept quiet and no one madde the connection between the increased rate of cancer and the power station. Mobile phones and powercables were clearly to blame.
During her teenage years the change became apparent. If she got angry, or jealous, or even lustful people would getg sick, very sick.
Her father had a good idea of what was going on, a mutant himself but with such a minor ability that he'd kept it quiet. He's made some money during his youth from this and decided to put that to use now. Natalya entered a program of home schooling, the best thatg money could buy. Her "talent" was ignored.
Byt the time she was 21 she held three doctorates, in physics, psychology and zoology. But at a terrible cost. Her parents were dying. They knew she was the cause but still didn't say anything.
At her fathers funeral a member of Hero Corps detected her power and approached her. She did not believe a word her said, obviously, and turned him away. A man in a black suit over heard this though and tghat night she went missing.
Three months of intense questioning by NSA agents and she was shipped off to NASA. The idea of using her to power the space program was only flawed in that she had no control over the power she wielded. The explosion was put down as nuclear testing and once more she vanished, but this time from the governments eye as well.
After a year of training by the Hero Corps she set off to become an agent in Paragon. Having been promised the most crazed villains to analyze and the strangest paranormal creatures to study. Her apartment is paid for by the Hero Corps, though her research is self funded from her parents estate.

Biography:
In 2005 abord the I.S.S, as part of ongoing reasearch of births in Zero G conditions, a set of twins were born to Dr.Rose Zaria. One was recorded as being "in perfect condition" the other as "giving abnormal readings".
A passing meteor shower damaged the power systems and put the whole Space Station on Emergency Back-Up generators, so for the saftey of the newborns it was decided they should Portal back to Earth, however, due to malfunctioning computers caused by the meteors the destination target became mixed with another Portal at Portal Corp, the Twins and their Mother entered the Portal, but never arrived at their destination.
And at that exact same moment, a 23yr old woman enroled in S.E.R.A.P.H. at Atlas Park, claiming to be Elizabeth Zaria, daughter of Dr. Rose Zaria. The Portal had sent them to Paragon City in 1982!
It is believed that her Twin sister, Orchid, (named due to a flower like birthmark on her head) blames Elizabeth for their mothers death.
It was the day they both found out about their past and the powers they had obtained. Their mother had been hospitalised (found to be cancer), so she decided to tell her girls everything. Once Elizabeth heard she was nothing more than an experiment, she became angry and grabbed her mothers hand, then all the monitors, and equipment started beeping and sounding alarms.
Orchid screamed and lashed out at Elizabeth, and an epic fight ensued. As the hospital was evacuated, all people could see was "Ice and Plantlife" coming out from the inside. When this fight seemed to have stopped, the rescue services went in to find both girls had dissapeared, leaving the hospital in ruins.
