I would probably wait. When I told the gms about my Badge issue they said not to claim anything. I suspect buying it on top of already having it would cause more issues when they attempt to fix it.

yeah, there seems to be a bug similar to the random badge bug, where a random pack is being awarded

[/ QUOTE ] It's just showing up, I can't actually use the self destruct power. And I looked at the new costume pieces, but I didn't try to use them in game. Not even sure if I would be able to.
Just like the title says. I know its a bug that has been going around and I petitioned it. But after looking at the costume pieces I want to buy it now(makes you wonder if it really is a bug
). Should I wait until the petition goes through to purchase it or do you think I'm safe to go ahead and do it now?
