You already have access to a hammer weapon for War Mace. I would support adding a few (or a LOT) more hammer options in there, but not for a brand new powerset unless it were two-handed.
Also, an "Electrical Hammer" melee set can easily be renamed into either "Thor Melee" or "Copyright Infringement Melee," and that could be problematic.

I am talking about a hammer that can produce thunder,or electricity.Yes,Thor's hammer can do that,but who says that only HIS hammer can?I was just using Thor to give you an idea as to what I was talking about.I understand that the War Mace has a few options where you can make it a hammer,but once again,it wouldnt be a hammer that generates electricity or thunder!
Actually in the case of Thor, Mjolnir and the lightning it can summon, those are all public domain. However Marvel owns the specific imagery of Thor, Mjolnir and the way in which their Thor actually summons the lightning.
I just can imagine this as being a very popular power for tankers.Just picture it in your minds.I do understand that Marvel owns Thor and his mannerisims and his abilities,but there has to be someway to implement this power.What if the Hammer of Atlas summons Light?..or Darkness?
You'd have better luck asking for it to be a weapon customization option for War Mace. It would be an electrical variant of the weapon similar to how the Nictus Broadsword is a negative energy variant. Purely cosmetic, but I don't really think there needs to be a power set that specific to concept (Electricity + Hammer).
It could be called "Hammer of Atlas" or something else,and I know the hero Atlas,didnt have a hammer,but the "Hammer of Atlas" was just a name that suddenly came to meand it would be similar to the hammer of Thor,which could summon thunder,or to be original in Paragon,it could be used to summon electricity to deal with enemies.It could also be customizable,like all other weapons this game provides.
I think it would be a nifty weapon for tankers..just ask Thor
