Is Chain Induction on the Fritz?

Do you have a proc slotted in it?
There's a known bug where it will use the proc's chance to fire for the chain shocks instead of simply jumping. Other than that, the only issues I can see with it are that the endurance cost and recharge are too high for a single-target attack and it's not a true AoE...

I was about to say I don't have procs slotted, but then I remembered that I have a full set of Touch of Death in Chain Induction .... and that set has a proc.
OK, guess that answers my question. Sigh.
I'm going to edit my post to say "Chain Induction" instead of "Chain Lightning". Told you it had been a while ...

Since it sounds like you're going for a defensive build, look at kinetic combat for CI. You can 4-slot it for half the defense of Touch of Death and avoid the proc problem.
Yeah, I ended up putting in Crushing Impacts for it on my ElM/Nin Stalker and put the Touch of Death sets in Assassin's Shock and Havoc Punch instead. It made it a little more annoying to get the extra melee defense, but with ElM you have plenty of places for Obliteration for the same defense bonus.

I've already sent a bug report on this, I'm just curious if others are having the same problem.
I'm playing a level 49 Electric Melee/Ninjitsu Stalker, and I noticed that Chain Induction isn't inducing Chain Shock. After noticing, I carefully watched for several more missions, and never had a single Chain Shock.
I'm not sure when this began, it's been two months since I've played this villain. Is it something with the power, the Stalker version of the power, or something unknown on my end?
