Architect ticket rolls for Basilisk's Gaze?
No, you can't get them all. Bronze rolls contain only those pieces which are pool A drops, meaning they drop from mobs. This includes the Acc/Hold and Acc/Rech pieces.
There are two pieces of the set in pool B (mission completion drops): Rech/Hold and End/Rech/Hold. These can be obtained with Silver rolls, but there is a 1.5:1 ratio of pool A to pool B recipies when rolling this class of roll.
The last two pieces are in the TF/Trial drop pool, which means they can only be gotten as Gold rolls or as Merit random reward rolls. These are the Acc/End/Rech/Hold and proc pieces.
Your best bet is to roll in the 10-15 level range. This range has the smallest number of recipies that include the Basilisk's Gaze set.

Can I get all the Basilisk's Gaze set pieces in the Bronze Tier ticket rolls? I got one recently, but it wasn't one of the two I specifically want, the Acc/End/Rech/Hold and the Acc/Rech.
If not Bronze, are they available in Gold or Silver?
And what level range should I pick to maximize my chances of getting BG? I got the piece I rolled (Acc/Hold, iirc) on lvl 25-29 Bronze.

Roll gold rolls or convert tickets into salvage sell buy your pieces.
Barring that save merits buy expensive things that you know what they should sell for, sell buy what you want
Rolling randomly for one particular item you will grow old before you get what you want

[/ QUOTE ]Gold rolls with MA tickets seems inefficient to me; at most, you can get 2 rolls in one go.
Bronze or Silver rolls, OTOH, you can fill up your entire recipe inventory at once, saving you a lot of time.

Is there a resource on this? I went to Paragonwiki and couldn't seem to find a list of what IOs would drop for Silver and Gold rolls, only Bronze...unless I was on the wrong page or something. Also, BG was created after the original pools were, so I was in some doubt as to what pools the pieces fit into. That might be clear on the wiki, but I'm a hidebound creature of my past. :P

It depends. If you can earn 4000 tickets faster than 20 merits, then it's better. The per-recipie average value is way higher for Gold roll recipies than for Bronze, and it contains things you can't get at all in Bronze.
As an aside, the average value per ticket for Silver is much worse than per Bronze in most level ranges, because pool B recipies tend to be vendor trash, and they make up a 40% of the silver rolls.

I did reference the Wiki. It looked at this.
You can tweak the URL above or use the search box for the following terms.[*]Bronze Class Recipe Roll[*]Silver Class Recipe Roll[*]Gold Class Recipe Roll
IIRC, all the new recipies have two pieces each in pools A, B and C. None were added to pool D, which is sort of academic now.

[/ QUOTE ]If you're just rolling with intent to sell, the average market value is all that matters, not what you actually get. While each gold roll recipe might get you more inf, you can get a lot more bronze rolls with the same number of tickets.

I haven't done the breakdown on whether it's better per ticket to do bronze or gold. The answer may depend on what side you play on as well, as LotGs and the like tend to be significantly more expensive on villains.
I do know that Bronze makes more sense than Silver in terms of average value per ticket. Whether it also makes more sense than Gold, I am not sure. Honestly, I gave up on micromangeing my slot inventory (invention and market) the way I have to for Bronze rolls. Gold is a lot easier on my time spent dealing with the output.

Bronze rolls reward 'pool A' recipies, both uncommon and rare. The uncommon:rare ratio is not perfectly clear, the wiki article suggests approximately 5:1. Pool A recipes are normally awarded by defeating enemies.
Silver rolls reward pool B and rare pool A recipes, at a 2:1 pool Aool B ratio. Pool B recipes are normally awarded from completing missions.
Gold rolls reward recipes from the combined group of pool C and D recipes (said pools having been effectively merged at this point, since the only places you can get them award from both pools). Pool C and D recipes used to be awarded from task forces and trials, respectively, but are now obtained only through trading in tickets/merits, or as very rare drops from boss class enemies.
On this page, you can see what drop pool any given recipe is in. The key to the symbols for each pool is at the top of the page.
At the bottom of the page that UberGuy posted, under the 'See Also' heading there are links to similar pages for the silver and gold rolls.
This other page also lists the pool each recipe belongs to - you may or may not find it easier to read.

To follow up on this thread, I had 85 merits on one of my characters most active in the market. I would prefer to use Architect tickets for random rolls, since merits can be saved up to force a buy at a precise level. But these were burning a hole in my pocket.
So I tried my hand at the 20-merit rare rolls in the 10-14 range.
Got the Basilisk's Gaze quad on the 4th and last roll.
