Task Force/Strike Force Contest
Why not just publish the TF in the MA and call it the <X> Task Force? You don't even need dev approval.

I guess I just don't see the point. But then, Dev's Choice already rubs me the wrong way.
Never surrender! Never give up!

I just saw the news about Issue 15 and I'm really pleased to hear that we're getting a new Task/Strike Force. In the wake of the Mission architect I just had an idea. Since they've given us a medium to create our own stories, perhaps the players could be called on to create something bigger... Task Forces.
The idea is to have a contest, using the MA to make a story arc(s) that will represent a player-built Task Force. It will have to be well written, perhaps in addition some kind of script will have to be written up and sent to the Dev's or whoever governs the contest. I imagine some sort of guidelines for contest rules as for what things we're allowed to use in our sumbissions and the players get to vote as well.
There would be two winners; one heroic task force and villianous strike force. They would get their task/strike force put into the game, perhaps when the next Issue goes live, (I16, 17?)
Obviously, their are limitations to what the player can create on their own so I think the Dev's would get to change what the final product would be.
What do ya think?
