?!?! you actually went to the site?!?! omg your braver than I am.. Brazil, mmm sounds familiar. I've been there. their studios is Arizona?! and as for the artist, even though they said he's originally from Brazil. My brother lives there after College. And as for you going to that site, pew pew

okay this is starting to get ugly. and yer english translation site is really bad. I withdraw my request for an art trade, there ARE too many holes here to make me comfortable. EVERY artist is unhappy with his work in some way, but the person you describe sounds either schizophrenic, manic depressive or bordering on depression. I don't understand how an artist of this caliber would have any doubts, so I find it hard to believe your story. thank you bayani for getting to the truth or at least trying to... Juggy can you vouch for this person?

This part isn't all that far off the mark, actually. I read a study that artists and writers are a percentage (which I cannot remember accurately) more likely to suffer from depression, than people with other careers.

Self-doubt can be crippling if you let it.

As for all the other details, I won't speculate.

Just to be clear ... States never said her/his brother was looking for commissions. Right?

I don't know what's going on here, but the image linked to in the original post is listed on another site (that can't be linked to) and identified as a "Susan Steel logo."

Don't know what's going on here, but it is quite suspicious.

No, nothing was said about taking money or definately signing up for commissions. Halfway down page 2 after being asked, States did say that contacting the brother would be difficult at best to even inquire about commissions.

I think the biggest concern by many of the artists and art lovers is someone taking credit for designing a character that is not theirs and attributing artwork to someone other than the original artist. I'm no high profile artist, but I think I'd be a little upset if someone "borrowed" any of my images for their use without at least asking me (or at the very least crediting me).

I know I'm the new fish in the pond, but I'm inclined to agree with Bayani. My Chillkill-sense smells trouble.

Oh, sorry, this post has a surprising lack of wacky. :P

You guys must really be digging up the dirt to find those. My search gave me a bunch of links relating to a Susan Steel actress, and a bunch of other sites. Maybe if I used quotes...
