Maybe use Patent leather and colour it brown? It could show that your caveman made pants and boots out of the Mastadon that he killed?

or maybe some combination of pattern and colors on the legs might look kind of "hairy"?
Is there any way to get monstrous fur legs on non-monstrous legs? My caveman looks weird with a ton of hair on his torso and clean shaven legs.
And if not, anyone have any suggestions for alternatives?
