Costume Help: Arachnoid Man
w00t, that's a freakin awesome idea Dae. damn I wish I thoughta something like that. The face and big A is fitting irony for him.
I'd personally go with some shade of blue, to fit the usual Herocorps look, but go with what you feel fits.

Slag Heap: Why you hurt Guardian!? Guardian no hurt you!
Have you considered why he doesn't wear some type of full mask? I'm asking because it would seem to me if he wants to appear "human normal" that set of eyes won't do.
I would think he'd cover it up, but it's clearly your call and your character so, what I'm asking is, how set in stone is the no mask thing?
Here's a slide show of 5 similar but different approaches for your scrapper:

Even if you don't like or use them, it was fun to do.
a thought on Arachnoid Man
given he is trying to "blend" figured he would want to cover his freaky eyes from the public. these goggles would covers em all possibly. the spiky bits are part of him...but he tries to make em look like part of the suit...but given he has to use wraps to get around em...not always successful. last bit to blend in is the tupee...which unfortunately has a nasty habit to slide slightly forward on him all the time as pictured here...
just a quick though and perhaps stir your creative juices a lil ~

That's a good question actually. Now, from my perspective I just like the freaky face. If you're gonna play an Arachnoid character, kinda the whole point is to at least look a bit freaky. So covering his face up completely? Probably out of the question, people might end up wondering what was so Arachnoid about Arachnoid Man then.
But from his perspective? Well I did try out some masks on him. Some actually ended up accentuating the freaky eyes more than no mask. They even leave little holes for the eyes on the back of his head! I didn't expect that lol. But I think of Arachnoids being keenly attuned to their senses, and head gear would interfere with that. The eyes on the sides and back of his head are an indicator of this. Fully human Heroes don't normally cover their eyes up completely (unless they're /SR lol), same thing with him, only he has more eyes to leave than we do. A lot more lol.
I'll definitely keep various masks in mind, though!

Oh, man that's some good work! I especially like the one with the helmet. It's a contender, no question. It was fun to look at, too!

See, what you did with the colors here is just way better than what I did. Again with the goggles...I think he's going to end up wearing goggles at least part of the time. And the tupee that ain't quite makin' it? LOL Comedy gold! It's a fun idea. I could have him go through a phase where he's become acutely aware how his appearance affects people, and so tries his hand at looking "normal", but just as in your example fails miserably.
Right now he's a complete innocent, so when people react badly, he's just his beaming, clueless self. But as he matures in his new life I can see it beginning to bother him a lot to where he tries to hide it, then ultimately near the end of his career he just accepts himself as he is and drops all pretenses. "I'm here, I'm Arachnoid, get used to it!" lol. He's a mix of comedy and real trajedy.
Keep the ideas coming! This stuff is great so far, and I've got up to 5 slots to fill eventually and a journey of self-acceptance to go through on him.

WARNING: I bold names.

really just took what you put out there and placed my own spin on it is all. colorwise, I wanted to use the green and white since you had em originally. given it was of an "ulitmate" version I darkened up a smidge usuing green as main versus white, also threw in the black as well to help balance out.
far as tupee...was cycling through the different hairstyles and "doofus" worked great for the idea of a tupee that constantly slips forward...it much more apparent on the side views... hehe
goggles are a hit or miss depending on personal taste. if going for a more serious take...I would definately gowith goggles. if looking for a bit more comedy then go sans-goggles.
I also threw in the spikes on shoulders, wrists and legs...mainly to "try" and simulate the how furry bug thing... yeah...well...tried at least and was relative happy with it. LOL
anyways...I may try again this evenin sans-goggles and a different look...~

I'm usually pretty good with the costume creator these days. I'm not one of the best, but I'm pretty solidly in the middle of the pack usually, and I get the occasional compliment too.

But this character is vexing me a bit:
Arachnoid Man
Brief Bio: A former Arachnos soldier who got Project-Furied, lived as a Spitter in the Gutter for a while, but regained much of his humanity (mentally and physically) and developed different powers. Retreated to Paragon City, "adopted" by GIFT division of Herocorps.
Archetype: Spines/Regen Scrapper
Character notes: No real memory of his former evil life, and is pretty embarassed by it these days, so has thrown himself into as classically-heroic a look as his odd looks will allow. Still remembers his days as an Arachnoid pretty well, but is a vegan these days (thanks to artificial protein supplements developed by DATA he can eat something other than human flesh now lol).
The look I have here isn't that bad as a first look. But I need to see what else could be done with a heroic Arachnoid/Human.
Nothing is really set in stone about the look, but I am pretty fond the big "A" on the chest. It along with his name is just too hilarious. When he does a rescue mission I just imagine the rescuee screaming their heads off at seeing him. Poor guy!
Thematically he's like the ultimate redemption story. He's all about second chances, starting over and doing the right thing even if you've done some pretty awful things in the past.
