Help Wanted - Base Builders

Nevermind! Suddenly had a different idea for my base that seems less mind-bogglingly impossible, so I'm gonna give it a shot. :P

What happens if you sell a storage item (Salvage Rack, Personal Storage, etc.) that has stuff in it? Or will the game only let you sell if it is empty?

Available for base building as requested. I split time between CoX and CO, but can usually be found eventually. I have done several bases for SGs from basic to ornate. TO prime examples where the SGs are still around are l3lack l3rigade on Champion and Dark Enforcers on Virtue.

I'm looking for someone with good base building skills that can turn my bland old bare bones base into something eye catching. It's a fairly medium size base with all teleporters to all zones and full of salvage & storage bins, medical bay, energy & control rooms, it's mainly used for me and my alts. It's current value (according to the Supergroup Registrar in Atlas Park City Hall) at 9.1mill prestige with 3.6mill prestige available. I can inject another 2.6mill immediately if needed.

While I would like to help, Marsha, I consider myself still not 'there' yet when it comes to base building. Not to mention that I really dislike the fact that making multiple floors within a room is so d@mn3d hard. It feels like a 'square peg in a round hole' because of the problems with so many of the base items.

A few minor tweaks to a very small sampling of items or just the addition of three simple items (yes, only three, Devs!) would solve *so* many of the difficulties.

Looking to hire a base builder to build one awesome base. Ive built a number of functional and some cool and decorative bases. In this case though I'd prefer to hire someone to go to town on this one.

One element I'd love to see in the base is a maze. Like one where you would be allowed to take 1/2 to 3/4 of the largest plot available and turn it into one huge maze. If you are so inclined and ambitious, multi tiered would be insanely awesome to boot.

I'd like the "front end" of the base to be as functional as possible, as in the entrance, medical, teleporters, and storage right on top of each other for quick use. Other than that its your own creative vision for everything else.

You'd have essentially unlimited prestige. I actually doubt you could spend all the sg has accrued to it. The SG is on Freedom.

I'm offering off the top of my head 1-2 billion as the minimum payment for this build. You are welcome to discuss it with me further.

I guess it could be done using the ever-stack-friendly floor safe. That's a LO-HA-HA-HA-HOT of stacking. I'm not interested in the INF, since it represents $9 to $18 bux in U.S. dollars (per current Chinese Prisoner/Guard conversion rates posted online). But it's an interesting idea. Have you drawn out a maze on paper? In other words, do you have a blueprint of what you want, or is that part of the project (to propose one)?

And half of what-size room? What about lighting? Do you want it dark, or lit (lit is extra work, of course).

I'll do some noodling in my base to figure out the grid size for the maze (in terms of number of floor safes) per room section. Do the verticals have to be friendly to non-fliers (like do they need steps)?

For the maze portion, it doesnt have to be multi tiered to start with, as I know that would be nutty based on the amount of base im willing to dedicate to the maze.

As for size. Starting with just a single tier design - the base can be on the largest plot available. The designer can use up to 3/4 of that total plot size to build the maze with. So not just a single large room. I'm talking about a massive free roaming maze that covers a lot of area / multiple large rooms. So single tier is probably more than fine to start with. I'd envision no more than 2 levels / tiers if the designer was ambitious enough to try.

In terms of maze layout, its all what the designer wants to come up with.
