i'm not sure if anyone has tried it, who knows the out come if they were set for the level but i quess worth a try. I'm sure you would find out right away since there are only 5 missions... if anyone trys it pls fill us in...

That's where we differ, I *always* play in pickup groups, since normally there's like just one more person online in my SG and not in my lvl range, but I always group so I have no choice. By the way, the game should be more 'pickup group' friendly with a LFM flag for groups, but that's another topic

Problem is, when the devs want the game to be just a little bit more challenging, these posts get full of complaints of "nerf" and what not, the change to AVs is the perfect example. Now they'll make them easy as they were before

I was addresssing the original point, which was that "good" Supergroups are those that do Hami-raids over and over again and powerlevel each other's toons to Hami SOs and the likes. I think that's an inaccurate generalization, because it depends on your definition of the word "good." Certainly, there's nothing WRONG with what they are doing, and I would agree it is a "good raiding SG." But not that generally it is a "good" SG, or that it is better than one that does not do this. It depends on your GOALS.
The goal of our SG is to roleplay, have fun, and enjoy the regular content of the game. None of us have interest in raids. I suppose to someone like you that makes me inferior. I prefer not to judge people "superior" or "inferior" but rather, to just let people play the game the way the wish. I'd never suggest that my group's M.O. was the only "good" way to be... and I think it's unreasonable to suggest that a Hami-raiding uberleet SG is the only way to be "good" either.

Again agree with you 100%. The typical difference between 'raid guilds' and 'casual guilds' that have plagued MMORPGs since EQ1 started putting so much emphasis on mega-raids, things have just rolled over even to City of Heroes/Villains where there is no equipment to be farmed or camped, except for HAMI-Os. I say, good riddance! If I wanted to farm or camp stuff I'd be playing Evercamp

The test team tried to scale the level down by exemplaring everyone to 45 or 46. The minions scaled down, Crimson scaled down, the Future Phalanx scaled down...but the Vindicators stayed at their fixed level (54 at the time). Obviously we didn't get past the Vindicators at +8.
The live vindicators seem to scale tho. When one of our teammates dropped they bumped down to 52 instead of 53. The final 8 are fixed at 54.
Side note: lysosome description is wrong

I think that they should just remove Lysosomes from the game and give everyone who has one a new SHOE/HO of their choosing... someone also got an Enzyme SHOE recently and it was made by Sister Psyche. The dmg/rng and dmg/acc were Positron's. Dmg/mez and Acc/mez were Numina. Lyso is Bastion (even more gimp now than Citadel's might be), so Micro is probably Synpase's, the rest is guesswork. Would be very surprised if they added any new SHOEs though, I doubt that States or Ms. Lib would have any.
This SF was completed on Victory with the following team setup:

EM/EA stalker
EM/regen stalker
merc/dark MM
ice/rad corruptor
Energy/thermal corruptor

So...it prevents farming but encourages and rewards powerleveling of multiple toons so people can farm it? Make it once per account per 24 hours, and do the same to hamidon. And make them untradable but let people select which they want.

Gratz on doing the SF on Victory my non cherry. You all should make some villians here on Triumph too we would love to have more nice players. Send our non cherry Guild Leader Foley a tell to get a invite they are always looking for good players there. But if you want to be a new hero please send me a tell I will try to get you into the bestest sg ever!

I don't think this is strictly true. You can't tell me a team of Dominators would have as easy a time as a team of Corruptors.
More debuff powers (-regen especially) make the SF easier. This is a truism, especially with the insane 1100% regen.

Actually, we tried it with 7 corruptors and a stalker. Couldn't do it with that team. So you're idea of an all corruptor team is wrong in a way. It probably could have been done but it was quite late and I wanted sleep badly. I was annoying Guild Leader Foley in my sleep deprived state
We would use other team set ups but currently on Triumph there aren't that many different high levels. Most of the high lvls here are corruptors and brutes. Once we start seeing more higher lvls tons of different strategies will appear.

Quick question, have you or anyone you know tried the SF without lvl 50s on the team. Since the minimum is 45lvl, an entire team of lvl 45s wouldnt stand a chance in hell against +9 heroes.
Just wondering.
