A CoH Podcast

Sorry in advance for cross-posting (I also put this in the General Discussion forum, but thought that it might be more appropriate here.)

Okay, first, a few disclaimers:

1. I'm very geeky. I know and accept this. It works for me.
2. I've never tried any kind of foray into the art of audio.

Because of 1 and in spite of 2, I have made a "concept podcast," a recording that I humbly submit for your listening enjoyment. I've been thinking that something like this would be really cool for some time, and I finally just decided to make one and see what happens. At the risk of totally screwing my bandwidth allotment, here's the link:

It's a (mostly) in-game in-character(s) podcast, with a few different formats thrown against the wall to see what sticks. I've also got some other ideas, but time constraints demand that I stop to actually finish the thing at some point.

My original idea was to put one of these out a week, but honestly, there's no way in hell that will happen. This was just a one-day one-person affair, and it was a long day. However, if I had a few more victi^H^H^H^Holunteers to help out, who knows? If you'd like to see something like this put out on a regular basis and you're actually willing to help see that come to fruition, please let me know. Otherwise, the idea will likely die at the concept stage.

Anyway, I must emphasize again, this is a concept podcast. Had it been a real podcast, it might actually be quite good. If you hate it, that just means there's a lot of room for improvement. If you love it, I'll take full credit, of course.

So what do you think? Good? Bad? Don't quit your day job? I'm going to write a web bot to use up your bandwidth to make sure nothing this hideous ever happens again? Drop me a reply here or e-mail me at tonyv@pcfreepress.com with your reaction.

We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
(If you love this game as much as I do, please read that post.)
