Real Name: Cody Henter
Background:
Once a basically unknown archieologist Cody was with a group of explorers in an ancient temple of magician from Egypt. He fell down a trap hole away from the rest of his party. He landed in a room with a large mural depicting different monsters coming from a bowl of fire held by an old man. In front of the mural was a tome with ancient markings. Cody picked up the tome but that was all he saw. There was a flash of blinding light and the tome fused to his skin. The next day he woke up to find himself in the hospital. He learned that the expedition was a bust and that he was out of a job. In the hospital room he learned he could bend light to make different Illusions. In need of money and a job Cody became a magician in Las Vegas. He made millions but that all changed one night. It was a routine act when all of a sudden 3 masked thugs busted in and demanded money. Cody fearing his health turned invisible and hid for a few minutes until a gun fight between the guards and the thugs hit a little boy in the crossfire. Cody couldn't take it anymore. His eyes erupted in a wave of purple and black light. He ran behind the first thug and created a horrific illusionof gunshot wounds on the thug.He fainted from the sight. Cody then took the light around the second foe and the turned it pitch black causing the foe to be completly blind. The third one tried to run but when he turned to run he ran straight into four phatnoms and turned back to see his worst nightmare. He instantly fainted at the sight. Having the gunners beaten Cody went to the dying boy. In his last breath the boy aske Cody to show him his family one last time. He gave Cody their picture and Cody created illusions of each one of them. thats when it happened. The boy smiled and was slipping away when the phantoms touched the boy and then dissapeared. To everyone's amazement the wound was gone. It was then Cody didnt care about his job anymore he had a new one. He donned his cape, his mask and is hat and boarded the next train to Paragon City to protect those in need.

Don't think I'll roleplay with him much, but this guy is my first successful hero.

Alias: Solid Shot
Real Name: WinBot Security Droid Model 5D-5T #33670 (Obsolete)

Background: Solid Shot was a security robot created to make use of the demand for effective protection from the new Rikti threat. Developed and created by WinBot, a subsidiary of Microsoft, the 5T-5D model was made using that best known methods at the time. Number 33670 was purchased by a wealthy individual in Illinois as a guard for his mansion, well away from any substantial Rikti activity. #33670 performed its duty with the typical unthinkingness and efficiency of any robotic minion. That is, until a routine software upgrade.

When #33670, dubbed 'Solid Shot' by its owner's teenage daughter, was being upgraded to WinBot 9.0, an unforeseen error occured. Solid Shot's defensive perimeter was accidently widened from just the mansion grounds to the entirity of the world. Being the robot that it is, Solid Shot must follow its programming which now called for protecting the entire world. Searching its databanks for a way for a lone robot to guard the world from disaster, Solid Shot came across a reference from an overheard conversation about a place called Paragon City which the Rikti War had hit the hardest and another reference about the Freedom Phalanx, which was the premier hero organization. Solid Shot decided that its best chance was to travel to Paragon City and assist the belaugered city in whatever way possible. Solid also predicted a high chance of being noticed by the Phalanx if it performed an exemplary job at defending the city.

So then, amidst the startled cries of the WinBot service team, Solid Shot activated his anti-gravity unit and jet thrusters and made its way to Paragon City.
