((OK, so I figured it was time to try Open Roleplaying once more After doing some research and looking at the other Open RP's in the RP Forums, I was surprised to find that none of them featured the Arena. Though I have a vague idea of WHY no one tried to do an Arena Open RP, I decided that I might as well take the initiative and start an Open RP on it.
Instead of setting this Thread down one particular (though very interesting and unique) plot like I have with the other RP Threads I've participated in, I've decided to leave this Open RP Thread completely open to any and all participants. Feel free to organize fights, bring in past grudges, and/or simply have your character(s) talk in the waiting area of the Arena. I hope that this Open RP is a success, but if it's not then no harm done. Enjoy! ))
"I still can't believe they did this." Mercy sighed as she affixed the "Grand Opening!" sign on the door of the Arena.
"I can't believe it either!" June laughed happily, jumping around the massive interior of the Waiting Area of the Arena. "Look at the food! Look at the big-screen TV's! Look at the incredible organization that-"
"June!" Mercy yelled, slamming the front door of the Arena closed. "Would you PLEASE stop running around like that? You're going to get us in trouble again, and we NEED these jobs, remember?"
"Oh, right!" June said apologetically as she sulked over to the Reception Desk of the Waiting Area.
Mercy sighed and took her place next to her cousin. It was only through sheer luck that she and June had gotten these jobs, and she didn't want her cousin's personality to screw things up AGAIN.
Mercy watched June run through the computer, trying her best to memorize the Training Session they had gone through. Despite the fact that she's a klutz, she still tries her best, I guess. Mercy thought to herself.
"Hey, look!" June suddenly said as she pointed to the doors of the Arena. "Someone's coming in!"
((For those (few) of you who follow my Fanfiction, yes, these characters ARE modeled after the characters with the same names from my Fanfiction ))
((Edit: Oops, forgot to describe my two characters! So, instead of using crafty literary techniques to describe them, I'll just give you some bare numbers:
Name: Mercy
Age: 19
Hair Style/Color: Black, Long
Eye Color: Brown
Outfit (Currently): Dressed in the standard attire for an Arena Employee: A short blue blouse that lowers to just below her knees, and a blue, long-sleeve, button-front dress.
Name: June
Age: 18
Hair Style/Color: Blonde, Long
Eye Color: Blue
Outfit (Currently): The same as Mercy, except her blouse is a bit shorter, stopping a bit above her knees
