Unfortunately, Positron was unable to answer your letter personally, because he had to fight crime. However, according to his "about this contact" information, Positron is a man wearing a suit of armor which he invented, and which is used as the base for most current powered armor. He was injured during the Rikti War, causing him to lose control of his energy-manipulation powers. Although it is sad, he has to stay in the suit forever, or bad things will happen, and he doesn't want anyone to get hurt because of him. I hope that this information is useful for your report.
