...most mods, in any type of forum with kill threads with overly large pyramids. reason: stopping people from attempting to making the most uber-pyramid ever. as such, any massive pyramid thread is usually deleted, or mod'd to nip such occurances in the bud. this doesnt always work...but there ya are none the less. not to mention...you really only need to quote the last statement or two to carry a thought...

just a thought on the matter.~

in regards to seeking "volunteers" from the forums here....well, you wont have any problems there. wait long enough, aka a day, and your have more referenced screenies of various heroes than you can shake a stick at. ~

...not a fan of "huge tracks of land", and to be honest big reason why I am not really keen on the second piece...maybe if they were more normal sized, even if big, I would like it more. as is just seems like it is playing to much to the younger pent up frustration crowd. eh...still...the line work is good and the coloring is good...just not a fan of the over all composition I suppose~

hrmmm...tall order. in a nut shell...a quite a few new artists have shown up...or at least posted again after hiding for a bit. some of the regulars have turned into mini art machines and have churned out some great pieces. Star continues to hog all the sugar. and have I mentioned tons of very cool artwork...really cant stress that one enough. some of the stuff these folks are able to produce, at all levels of ability, simple amazing.

I am sure your dad will love the piece...and as mentioned great lil background on the genesis of the characters name ~

depending on how stylized you are looking to go I think it actually looks quite good as it is. on the critiqueside...I can see the stretching ability people have mentioned previously. this is due to the arm 'curving' combined with being a smidge to long. also I think the head is a tad large for the body.

either way...looks durn good thus far and looking forward to your next update on it. ~

yes...well...the most diehard of gamerguys aren't exactly the most "socially-able" as it were, for the most part. that said, there are some good stores out there...so I would just say try to avoid over generalizing as much as possible, or at the very least, be willing to check out new ones cause ya just never know unless you walk through that door.

although...does kinda stink that you had some bad experiences in the past. :/ makes me kinda wish I hadnt sold my store, miss all the fine folks (guys and gals...actually was about 25% gals) that used to come by~

wow...you all definately have been in the wrong stores.... hell, I'm a guy and I would avoid stores with atmosphere's like that. indeed...avoided like they had the friggin plague!~

....thier online store sold out. this in turn means that individual brick and morter stores should still have their own stock. which still leads us back to square one.~

...then I would say you have been frequenting the wrong game stores.
although, I will agree...the attention gained being of the fairer sex in most (not all) such places can be a tad....intense. either way...long as you have a place that sells what your looking for in the PnP arena your all good. ~

obviously the vast majority of players in the north american area will not be able to purchase this item per the release date of Sept 29th (today). originally release date was set here for not only the boxed set but also the the ability to purchase in-game content only.

alas, things have happened and first the InGame Codes were pushed back due to some...error/glitch/screwup/whathaveyou. oookay, I can understand things like this can occur. perhaps though...just perhaps....we may want to consider putting out an more official notice on the actual website versus just placing the notice in the forums.

next up actual release date...and the exclusive store, for the most part, does not have the item in stock and not to be expected for another week. again, I can understand things happen...

what I find odd, and I believe has many others put off, is the fact that these two instances both happened...and effectively happened at the same time. sure it could be a big coinkydink...but one does have to wonder.

as a side note...someone mentioned that ncsoft and cryptic have no control. actually they do as they are ultimately responsible in getting their product out to the masses.

anyways...just a small rant and a lil dissappointed is all. given the current situation I am still surprised that nothing has been officially posted by either Cryptic or NC regarding this situation...not even an apology....which I could accept....its the silence that kills me...
