    I do believe he asked for a build for 1on1 battles not Zonal PvP... A build can be didctated for that... For instance if he want to battle 1on1 then the Chance for Build up proc is worth while... Give he is a tank he can last up to about 2min which is a bonus for 1on1... it depends what your looking for? Zonal or duels? either all the quick build i made up was for DUELING NOT zonal.

    i would loose the Touch of death and Mako damage procs, you want at least 5 crushing impacts for the recharge time. Thats important. Also your heal is important id go 2heals 2 recharges and 2 interupt reductions. Thats what will keep you going in battle. I recently fought a Duel Blade/WP brute and he was the biggest *****! so theres no problem with WP just needs to be right... also i think it is quite expensive to make formable in 1v1. How much do you have to spare because i got a build here that i have made but it is rather expensive... some where in the billions area?

    Gee thanks for vote of Confindence, i always rolled a BS/FA in PvP and a Fire/Fire blaster... decided to roll a Claw/Regen for the sheer speed of the recharge of the attacks, i still rekon BS is far better than most Melee toons. as for Regen its not the best AT out there but it would defeat the 4 main toons he was worried about. I know because my Claw/Regen has.

    proabably dont need Chance of Hold in a hold, the only reaso nyou would slot it is if oyu had a ranged attack and no hold attacks... Only way for a melee to get a hold on bunny hoppers. But since you've slotted in 2 holds i wouldnt worry too much for the proc in devastation. Sorry the build i gave you is basic. I had to rush through it. But oyur on the right path now... Your best bet now is to try and get that started see how you fare in PvP. I personally wouldnt of gone WP tank for PvP but thats me take it easy and let me know how you go

    Try that out, i very quickly went thru your build, its not perfect but more along the lines of what your looking for. any way i gtg wife isnt happy wit me take care

    sorry mate but no good! want to get global recharges from LoTG, there far more important. also loose all the slots in laser eye beams and only slot it twice, get the Chance of hold Proc from devestion. no need to slot Hurdle and loose all your kinetic sets and replace with Crushing Impact, the acc and recharge bonus is essencial for PvP... member the faster your attacks and rage recharge the more damge you do. Also i would keep the Build up Proc, but i would try and get tatics to slot it in, that way the chance is increased to happen at least every 3minutes, and lets face it your a tank and a duel might just last that long?

    I aggree with Black Barrier, Stalkers would definalty be a great way for you guys to get started! Even a Brute/Stalker combo is effective. The Brute can get the attention of your target and wen they are least expecting it AS!!! anyway unless you really get into it that what i would do. Builds for a Brute and Stalker Combo would have to be SS/WP or EM/WP and for the Stalker EM/Nin. Thats what i would run anyway

    Not sure how much PvP you have done? but BS/regen seems to be the most damage proof for PvP as for DM its far to reliant on groups for full potential... Not saying FM isnt a good choice it definalty is but in all Honesty, BS is the strongest set for melee PvP... Build it right and your dmage potential is up at 900/hit an wit ha build up recharging at 20secs that damage potential is extremly achievable. Spines.... hmmm, ive done enough PvP to compare Spines, FM, DM, Kat and BS in arena and RV and BS is the best the randed attacks arnt all that great and all you need to buff a BS for ranged is laser beam eyes. If you want good Zone PVP than you Build your toon for Zone PvP.. SS+SJ is good for those reasons. One of the best PvP're i have ever seen was Prince Paix ((BS/Regen)) just has to be slotted right!

    My man just build a BS/Regen... Slot it right and sit back and see them all crumble before you! That or a Katana/Regen... They are the best DPS for a scrapper

    cant say i have goten any PvP drops at all, i have however goten alot of purples that i was able to sell "when they worth the same as a PvP IO" and bought them on WW. So im not sure if that counts... but No, i havnt goten any PvP IO drops only purps

    its ok, pulled the PC apart today, found that the fan on the Graphics card has siezed, bought a new fan and a new graphics card, due to the the fact that i had fried the old one... now replaced its running like adream again.

    Currently runnning a Pentium 4 2.2 ghz processor, 1 gig Ram DDR, 256mg graphics card... 80gig hard drive mainly empty now due to the format, sound card im not sure of and network card not sure of either.

    I'll work on getting all the stats of the Graphic options later on, but for now you might be right about the fan not working on the graphics card? I will have a look at it and see how it goes. thanks for the advice.

    Hello, been playing CoX for awhile now, alittle over 15months and have been having issues with the game running smoothly. When i 1st got the game it rean with any drama's what so ever but has recently in the last 4 months goten worse.

    My computer has well over the recommended requirements for the game yet i have troubles playing at on any setting almost like its on a constant lag wen im in a big team.

    At forst thought it was my drivers or a Spywear so i ran a update and vireus scan that removed them all and undated my Drivers... Still didnt fix it.

    Next was to turn of all my programs taking up ram usage. Still no better.

    Decided to format the HD and reinstall only the necesities. Updated drivers and all i need to have it run normally again... Still i have troubles in a big group like im lagging. My nest is ADSL 7.2mg/sec download so i know ints not that im just stumped... does anyone have any idea?
