Soul, gloom and oblit (darkest night if you want as well) I've never found sappers to not be much of a problem. Rely on your massive AoE and kill it before it kills you.
Also, i recomend getting recharge and def, as health is pure ****. -
If they had new iMobs where NPCs had a decent chunk of extra HP (maybe +500 or so) i would totally support that. However, the entire idea of the incarnate powers (or at least as far as i can tell) is that the rest of the game doesnt get harder.
Also, judgement is lucky to even take out +3 minions. -
No
Well...i was on a team where i heard power boost affected rebirths heal. But i never got to see it so i dont know if that was true, it wouldnt have been WAI anyway. -
Quote:With stone only really bad power is hurl boulder, even though it looks awesome, and then stone fists.Alright, so I think I'll try Dark/something, possibly WP or Fire, don't know yet, but I'm really interested in Dark/*.
Other than that, Stone/WP may see a try too, since it's been mentioned a bunch.
As for Elec/*, I feel like I'll never get to use Lightning Rod, although I might try an Elec/* scrapper, it still feels oh so far away.
Well, I'll like to thank you all for the responses and if someone has something to add, please feel free to do so, I'd be glad to hear it.
Ah, i wasn't quite right before to say dark/ lacks dmg. It only lacks AoE dmg, as its AoEs are more utility than attack, because it actually has some of if not the best STdps out there.
And Dark really does do VERY well with /SD and /SR (i prefer /SD used with dark because of dmg) i used to play a dark/SR quite a bit and he was by far my toughest toon. -
Energy/ sucks, plain and simple. And elec/ I dont know what it would be best with
Right now i think you might like a Stone/WP brute/
Now, i really wanna recomend /fire haha. Dark/fire is pretty epic, especially if it gets IOed. SS/fire is great too but talk about FotM, and i think they need more investment to cancel out the squishyness of /fire as well. Dark/ is the single best melee set for buffing surivability, hands down, which /fire lacks a bit. However, it gives up some dmg but then /fire make up for that. Really just great synergy imo.
Ah, I've always thought SS wasnt plain but really freakin unique. No other powerset gets anything close to RAGE(!!!!!!!!!!) which is just a plain old awesome. Only dark/ and kin/ come close. -

Reactive DoT dmg is affected either, or IO proc's for that matter, which is quite nice. But i must say, i love Sands of Mu haha.

Quote:99.9% sure its actually 10% -res.Nope, it caps too low to make it worth it on big targets like AVs (4% resistance debuff is the cap from layering Reactives, even from multiple sources), and the lower-end targets all die too quickly to make much use of a 20% stacked resistance debuff. You're still way better off with the fire damage proc.

600mil inf?
Not imo (Amerits dont count IOs are still count for their inf cost when i factor it all up) /fire needs AT LEAST 32.5%def, 50% +rech, and 12 KB before i would say its good. But my opinion of good when it comes to /fire is at least being able to solo an ITF in an hour or so. -
No, 45% isnt even close to overkill. On teams of 8 insp dont drop for **** and simply can't be relied on. If you DONT have 45% def it will evaporate within a matter of seconds. Not to mention its still VERY possible to get soft capped and have a decent chunck of +rech. +rech has DR but def gets BETTER the closer you get to the soft cap and you can reach the point where DR simply gets too high its a waste while still soft capping.
Tada! Soft capped to s/l/e/n and 37.5% +Rech from sets. And of course hasten and the FF Proc as well.
Code:And i believe it's still possible to run the attack chain you mentioned, with a t3 sprit alpha (which is really quite easy to get, and the best for WP imo).| Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1386;692;1384;HEX;| |78DA65945B4F134114C767BA5B7A055A0A946BE9052805596834F1D14481880102D| |4DB5BD3C0D8D66CDA66BB8DF0E68B5F40137DF0EE67F2C13BF1D144D46F8067CF7F| |B824DDB4F3DB39F39FF33F33B3BB9B072B51211E5F133272C3AEB4DBE5EB4EC7558| |1AD8ADB712A7670B553550D95BE1F10428CF1507953D94A59A54E4B39E592EBA846| |D5AD2531B4A21EA8465B59F7EAB6DD6A3E524E7CBD51532471ADD39BDEED66D3B6D| |6EAD59A5B6F54A3DCDB50951675FA4F3BFBCA69D7EAAD30F74B2DA5F693ABADFA9E| |059352B36397372B6D5739872354569EFE5929F47562886D2F207CBB0CB3C4E8D96| |17CF624AC3DF18B24DD4C8ABE69EA15455F467AA906A61883294626CBC8493D89B2| |4B9D1DF94C98F4C0E42BB506B2FB8C759E1A5C65C46E32BED0901F02C38FDC41F8C| |6603808FB196A0330F4076018FEE4F3AA0D7F6444611F85FD00ECBF511B4276111A| |92DEAA246589E8CA2348347D1BC0D425243248D7AB0BEB4529C3A86F18F58DE418D| |F49D12F25AFB0FF0E5B8CEC30164B8C3CB5712D88BFA45A1362EC1523B5C0FBFC83| |DA84DEA3C40B9F171A7BCA9878C618A65286B46008AB28C418C541864982A4AE350| |9411A2369E87209469C74A35A370A5D06BA8CCE07DD1129C6B56E1CBA944E047931| |CEC806BC9D679D9CC462A681028D4FE9E39A7AC2AB98FDC5E734FB1B3866E40F599| |E3F60CC4A6FE7E19BADF1AC9CCDC8D71985878C9FA49881CE3783B329E03159C211| |ED1942CC69FBB9D79C7BFE03F01678CFB8F486B1F48EA168D60266990B118305012| |0C8580C0161C6117D252CC8857595601A22473BB2AC1FB8E51E1CA279F622D28F2E| |31DF1559EE8A14BB2297BB2257BA226BE6D9CB7CB2717134C30BDC36CFDE5A2179C| |2719822BA5EB9C8A2BFE721296FF176A6EFF271FFB9289E63F1BFF3904FE2D99DC0| |B39B7ACE08C5E803004B5C5B090AEB12FF03461AD67A| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|

With WP i personally think you always wanna go for def. That +rech literally does NOTHING for your entire secondary. No matter how much +rech you throw at just about any SS/WP/soul toon it not gonna be an epic steamroller, or if you just go with +rech your gonna be a glass cannon compared to other brutes. WP is simply a brick wall set. But at the same time you can easily support the spirit alpha which is quite a bit of +rech.
EDIT: mids DOES factor in global rech when it shows you rech times. And imo, 50 hp/sec is good.
EDIT EDIT: I'd also like to mention recharge DR, if your +rech from sets were you double you would take off little more than a second or two from your AoEs. -
Quote:If you are thinking brute i would say SS/WP is pretty fun.I'm leaning towards a Brute. I haven't really played one of those much. Electric Melee perhaps. Shield or Willpower secondary?
Depending on how far you wanna go after 50 SS/fire can pwn that content, sounds to me like you are more in it for the journey though. So i would highly recomend SS/WP or Claws/WP just a plain old fun *** trip to 50. -
-
According to mids you can slot it into a few elec attacks, what does it do then. Gives the enemy end right?
-
Nihilli is exactly right. Attack vitals and sweep are the only two combo's you really want. Empower can be pretty nice in the low levels though.

I'm not too good with mace but here is a s/l/e/n soft capped build. Shouldnt be all that much more expensive than yours. Might be lacking offence a bit but your pretty much unkillable.

Never want to go past ED.
My favored slotting for RttC is numi: heal, heal/end, heal/rech. And then discouraging words for s/l def. -
-
Here, just wanted to throw that out there *if* you wanted to take a look. soft capped but still has 70% +rech and 12 points of KB protection. As well as mu.
