You can unlock Rularuu weapons:
Heroside: Complete a shard Task Force or destroy 100 Overseers
Villainside: Complete Naylor's "Bravo for the Shadow Shard" (?) arc (or is it "Last Stand at Mole Point Bravo") or get Efficiency Expert Pither's mission to rescure Olivia Darque, set it to +6 or so and spawn Overseers the 'hard' way.
Heroes can:
1.Get the Visionary Badge for defeating 100 Overseer bosses
2.Obtain the badge or souvenir from any Shadow Shard task force
Villains can:
1.Get the Visionary Badge for defeating 100 Overseer bosses
2.Complete Technician Naylor's level 35-40 arc "Last Stand on Mole Point Bravo"
3.Complete Scirocco's level 40-45 arc "The Hammer of the World"
4.Complete Efficiency Expert Pither's level 45-50 arc "Alone in the Darque"
A few more tidbits:
In the Northwest part of St. Martial there is a skeleton that appears as if it is being hanged from the large tree. If the camera view gets too close, the skeleton disappears.
In the extreme southwest corner of Cap au Diable, there is a small island with a palm tree, a life preserver, and a skeleton.
In the I13 Closed Beta, Shield characters could use Blue Steel's shield, but it was removed for unkown reasons. -

You can't summon a veteran buff pet while flying. You have to land first.
You also can't use rest while flying.
You can, however, activate Hover or Fly while resting. -
This also happens with the three pulse rifle attacks in Robotics and for Arachnos Soldier gun attacks.

What are your powersets? Suck Melee and Fail Defence?

I live in NJ, and it's snowing like crazy. We're supposed to get about a foot. Been out shoveling a few times already, and fallen down twice.
What really surprises me though is just how many people drive 60 MPH and then can't understand why they crash into the curb or do a 180 while trying to turn. -
My first 50 was Shadowninja, a Ninjas/Dark/Soul MM. He was a blast play. I had him at 40 before the level cap was raised and then immediately started on him again once it was. Unfortunately, hes was at a very high level when I9 came out and I still haven't gotten around to IO'ing him out yet.
My other 50 is Yellow Chaos, a Katana/SR/Body Mastery Scrapper. He's quite the powerhouse, and is able to take most EBs without taking a hit (I need to go back through these and try them again as AVs). He's has mostly common IOs with a few set bonuses scattered around as well. He also has my first and only crafted purple enhancement slotted. -
I made a new MM. His name is Project Purity and he's Bots/Storm. His pets are named after weapons in Fallout 3. He only has 2 so far, but I have the full set already in mind:
Drones: Kneecapper, Tenderizer, and Dismemberer
Protectors: Ol' Painless and Eugene
Assault: Man Opener
Also, after further deliberation I've scrapped the previous names for my Demon MM pets and plan on using:
1st level: Lemmy, Iggy, and Wendy O.
2nd Level: Roy and Morton Jr.
3rd level: Ludwig
Now I just have to find a way to squeeze Larry in there and I have all the Koopalings. -
I noticed that my Soldier of Arachnos doesn't play his animations correctly in the Power Customization screen. When he should be doing the animations for his rifle powers, he just stands in the rifle combat stance and moves slightly, but does not actually do the animation.
I have also experienced this on my Robotics MM with his Pulse Rifle powers. Both animate correctly while actually playing, however. -

I'd say about half of my character have typed bios. For the rest I either A) can't come up with anything or B) am too lazy to write it out. However, nowadays I rarely make a character without a concept and most of the ones that don't have anything are from way back when I first started the game.
Most of the time I go with the typical origin story style, but occasionally I use:
1) The reason they decided to become a hero/villain (with no indication of how they got their powers)
2) A monologue - The character describing himself/herself to the reader. This was especially fun for my Freakshow turned hero, as he talks in half English and half 1337.
3) One of my personal favorites is a bio written as if the reader has seen the character before. She is a woman that was attacked on the streets and ended up in a coma. That triggered a mutation that lets her mind manifest itself as a hero to track down the thugs that attacked her. The bio reads as if the reader saw the story of the attack on the news and is trying to figure out where she got the powers and how it's possible to fight crime while in a coma.
4) While not used often, sometimes I'll just put a few lines as filler until I come up with something better. My favorite use of this was Robotic Pirate Ghost, whose bio simply read: "He's a robot. He's a pirate. And he's a ghost. What more do you need to know?" While I really liked the simplicity of that one, his bio has since had an upgrade and even has tie-ins to future characters to be created when GR comes out. -
I want chicken, I want liver. Meow Mix, Meow Mix, please deliver. Meow meow meow meow...
Sorry, I had to. What I'd really like:
Bird head, talons, and feathers costume parts
Pirate Mastermind set.
Freakshow arm costume parts (or maybe a permenant Freakshow Tank costume power)
Holiday themed weapons (Candy Cane for War Mace, etc.)
Toy weapons (NES Light Guns for Dual Pistols, etc)
More GR info -
I'm hoping for some bird heads, talons, and feather textures.

I had another "I can't believe that name wasn't taken yet" moment a few nights ago. I snagged Project Purity for a new Bots/Storm MM. His story is that he's trying to purify the cesspool water on Mercy Island when his lab is ransacked, his research is destroyed, and he is thrown into the cesspool water. The dip in the water gives him control over the weather. With no money to rebuild his lab or fund his research, he dusts off the robots from his "try to take over the world" days and becomes a villain on the side to make money.

I'll probably go Demons/Thermal, since it's the only MM secondary I haven't tried yet.

A few of mine:
Shadowninja (Ninjas/Dark)
Genin: Kerero, Giroro, and Kururu
Jounin: Tamama and Dororo
Oni: 723
Total pwnage (Thugs/Dark)
Thugs: ph4m1n3 and p1agu3
Arsonist: k4o5
Enforcers: w4r and d347h
Bruiser: B1g L4rry
Last Chancer (Mercs/Pain)
Soldiers: Fingers and Grease Monkey
Medic: Brains
Spec Ops: Shiv and Hero
Commando: Ox'
Planned Demon summoner
1st level: Larry, Moe, and Curly
2nd level: Heckfire and Brimpebbles
3rd Level: Satin (or possibly Shemp if I decide to stick with the Three Stooges names) -
Since we can use characters from any media, I'll take some video game characters:
Link - Broadsword/Shield/Weapon Mastery Scrapper
Donkey Kong - WP/SS Tank
Bowser - Fire/Invuln Brute
Pikachu - Elec/Elec/Elec Blaster
Mewtwo - Psychic Blast/Mental Manipulation Blaster
Ezio Auditore - Claws/Ninjitsu Stalker (claws are as close as you can get to his hidden blades)
Yoshimitsu - Katana/SR Scrapper -
No one is interested in my "Arachnos Weighted Companion Cube" idea.
I am not allowed to paint an Arachnos Flier red, and it won't go faster with a red paint job.
I am not allowed to alter my Crab Spider armor to look like Chaos Space Marine Power Armor. Or Eclave Power Armor. Or T-51b Power Armor. Or any other power armor.
Black Scorpion does not transform into a car or motorcycle. I am to stop saying that to new recruits.
I am also to stop spreading rumors that Black Scorpion is secretly dating Samus Aran.
Arachnos Fliers are not "robots in disguise"
It is not funny when I lead Lost members into an Arachnos building and make them stand in the "Lost and Found" bin.
I am not allowed to call Ice Mistrall "hot" -
I have a couple of characters I'd do this with. Neither of them are a high enough level though. Both would have their owns reasons for going.
Da Krusha (Energy/Energy Brute) doesn't know anything about himself. He has nowhere to go, and no one to leave behind. He may be a villain, but he'd gladly throw away his life to save the world.
Break Stuff (Arachnos Soldier) just loves to beat the crap out of people. If he was given the opportunity to join one of the biggest brawls in history, he'd go even if he'd never come back from it. -
Those were great. I'm really looking forward to see what happens in game now.

I can't believe I forgot my favorite naming tactic: Think outside the box. Think way outside the box. Come up with something so strange that no one would have thought of it before. Examples:
Tik Taq Toe - While on the surface it looks like intentional mispelling, it's actually taken from the name of a Warhammer Lizardman special character, Tiktaq'To. Lizardman names are great alternate spellings for phrases. Others include Itzi Bitzi and Sokitoomi.
Red Ones Go Faster - Name given to one of my Superspeed characters. The name comes from the Ork belief that a vehicle with a red paint job will out perform a similar vehicle that is painted a different color.
Just For The Halibut - I used this old pun as a character name just last night for my "fish-turned-villain" character.
Robotic Pirate Ghost - One of my friends heard the phrase "Robotic Pirate Ghosts" while playing a video game. He told me about it the next day and it become a running gag between our little group of friends. So I like to use that name in video games.
