Ken Morse, the Lead Artist on the title was excited. Its going to be a lot more work for our department, but I think the end results are totally worth it. He said. Players can optionally disable the Visual Sounds in the options menu, but are encouraged to keep them on, as all the sounds in the game are being removed to make room on the players hard drives for the new Visual Sound graphics.

No thank you. I want to keep my sounds...oh wait this is April 1st!...nevermind

The Mission from Sela Vermont was a disappointment. I would suggest four or five missions with an EB/AV at the end Called "Heartbreaker" or something appropriate like that. I also think Valentines needs an exclusive event group like the Christmas and the Halloween events, just as long as it is not Snaptooth

LOL

I kept picturing Back Alley Brawler making "jazz hands" and singing "Mammy" during that one TFII interview.
Jazz handins with gigantic robotic piston hands would be pretty cool though.

Ni Hao Ma,
So I hear from my ninjas that my son wants to talk to me, he wants to start a dialogue, he wants to find common ground, he wants to "Network" with me. What the hell does all that mean? I'm not sure but click the link below to find out!

I do believe it is Oliver Hardy, you may be confusing him with Lou Costello...and yep I'm that old

Well first off that was the Praetorian version of Back Alley Brawler, Marauder, on the phone. Back Alley Brawler comes in every now and then to tell us about up coming issues, like these Issue 10 and issue 11 examples.
Issue 10 Interview Part-1
Issue 10 Interview Part-2
Issue 11 Interview
Marauder comes back later for an interview...but that is another story.
(PS. I would not say a man the size of a small car that could juggle semi-trucks had "Jazz Hands" and sang "Mammy" he may "Foot Stomp" you into paste)

Nei Hao Ma,
As I ponder the AMAZING accomplishments that I have been involved with this past year, I think the pinnacle (not the server) was the INCREDIBLE Time Force II Statesman's Task Force competition on the test server. Undoubtedly this competition had some of THE best teams I have ever seen. The winners (THE Fire/Rad team) were SPECTACULAR and I was very glad I was not Lord Recluse that day. Anyways here is the build up skits before the event.

Nei Hao Ma,
Hello, I am Doctor Fu Manchu Evil Overlord and Radio DJ. My show often has twisted humor at many Heroes' expense (and sometimes my own...but we won't talk about that.) After much reflection and insightful self analysis (it is a Buddhist thing *shrug*) I have decided to relive some of my best skits of the past year (kind of makes you wonder what were some of my worst, huh?) So here is my interview with States Mutt, the faithful companion to Statesman I still got the bite marks from that interview!

Ah yes, Heroes really need to check the fine print when dealing with the humor of an Evil Overlord...Muhahahaha!!!

Ni Hao Ma,
I am Doctor Fu Manchu and am a Evil Overlord and DJ on POJ Radio. I have started a satirical audio comic about our favorite game City of Heroes/Villains. In my past I have been in many MMOs and have always found some of the dynamics of online games humorous; one such irony is the Elite Gamers and the Role-players. Here is a typical meeting of the 1337 & the RPers, enjoy!

Don't worry guys, I did the voice over for the next I10 video, so you can all poor your vo-hate onto me once that comes out.

While the Training room was up I tested my defense against a +2 Lt, and +2 Minion and they took me out in 4 hits with just my toggles and passives...no noticeable difference from current game play. I stood in a group of 12 even conned minions and was taken out in about 10-20 seconds...no noticeable difference from my level 23 Super Reflex Stalker, or 25 Super Reflex Scrapper.
[/ QUOTE ]
You can't base anything on that few a number of attacks. That could be a streak of bad luck. Statistical analysis works that way.
You need a run of a minimum of several hundred, and preferably several thousand attacks with misses and hits counted, to really get a picture of what defense powers are doing.
Other posters in this thread have hopped on and reported completely contrary results to your own, and the reason is the same. They had lucky streaks.
[/ QUOTE ]
I would be more specific however due to the lag and disconnects Hero Stats was not able to get more than just a few fights. My statement was just an overall impression, I will make a more accurate assessment when the server is up and stable. -
