I'm reliably informed that it's 1.2 million inf per round of RV solo at 50.. you say 1.4, so not much difference anyway.. I was just interested in how many times you think it possible to do a round with and without a kin.
There are plenty of much easier, risk-free ways to earn more than 5 million inf in an hour.. but I dont deny that it is... not bad.
When you find the enemy that provides 45k each in a duo and can be one shotted by a blaster you'll know good inf -

I imagine farming 6 man spawns solo is still better inf, and much more reliable.. but would be interested to know max inf gain in 1 hour from RV solo as a kin (or as kin duo), if anyone knows.. -
How many rounds of RV is it possible to complete in 1 hour with a kin?

I always find it funny when certain blasters run to the ship at first sign of being attacked but then complain about elude, especially when they are /em.
You really shouldnt let people put you off PvP because they think being foul-mouthed on broadcast someway justifies their loss. Best bet is just to ignore them I find.
I've never seen Octavian Vanguard in Warburg, but then admittedly, I'm not about so much myself nowadays. If they don't like PvPing in zones maybe we could get some arena arranged
Also, I don't believe that Villains are as drastically underpowered compared to heroes as some people like to think, but I'll leave that for another day. -

As Thal just pointed out it's heroes vs. heroes and villains vs. villains, so I dont think this is much of an issue here? -
As I said, the HO thing isn't really an issue for me, | was just curious as to how you were planning to check people's enhancements?
Some people enjoy no travel power PvP, and you've had some positive response regarding that, so if you want to go ahead with the original rules then by all means please do so. It's just not something I'm personally a fan of.
I wouldn't have thought that kin not providing any boost to speed would be something that would sway your decision on this matter, though. If the kin buffs did provide a significant boost it would make kin hugely overpowered and essential to any team wanting to compete in this format, and therefore making the tournament completely unfair, which is what you were trying to avoid by using this rule in the first place?
And just so you know, they will give you some boost to speed and jump, but the cap can be reached through other powers if you slot correctly. -

How can you say you are good at PvP if you cant fight with travel powers? The PvP in this game is meant to be fast paced and no travel power takes away that extra dimension which makes it different to almost every other game out there.
You seriously think that blaster vs. tank or scrapper duels would be fairer and more representative of player skill if there were no travel powers? Or for that matter anyone duelling an opponent with an overwhelming amount of slows or toggle debuffs?
In team PvP I don't believe it makes it fairer either, I actually believe it makes certain AT combinations ridiculously overpowerful and some powersets even less useful than in regular, unadulterated PvP.
The HOs thing is ridiculous, because unless they get some official backing they can't police it. And why exactly should I strip my fully HOd build (every one gained on Union) because they don't have any? This isn't really an issue for me though, and I would be willing to replace them all with SOs, but combined with the no travel powers rule, it's just all a bit gimpy. -

This is correct. The lower level will be sk'd up to the lowest weight class allowed to join, after you change to a specific weight. They will retain the same hit points (so in your example, a level 12's hp) but will have the same toHit chances as the level they are sk'd to. -

Why stacking 2-4 cm when u can stack 20+ of them? And it does negate those inherent, which doesn't mean those ATs can only get kills with them, as you pointed out on the stalker example. Just like a scrapper doesn't need a critic to get a kill, but there is not a power out there that can prevent critics from scrappers, or defiance from blasters, for instance.
A stalker can get invis and be unseen unless at very close range, true, but he won't be able to attack either. With hide+stealth it will be seen from miles away.
A dominator can stack multiple holds, but would never be able to hold thru cm stacked at its best, even if the target is standing and no one is harrasing the dominator. That goes for trollers too.

If you want to let an empath stack 20 cm on someone, I will say it again, you deserve to lose.
A dominator can stack over tank unyielding in 4 seconds, 3 clear mind in around 12 seconds. CM in no way negates their inherent. You also seem to think that AS is a stalkers inherent, which it isnt. They can still quite comfortably get a guranteed crit from hide no matter how many CM are around.
And I totally agree with Extremus, if you're finding 1 empath not moving from the hero hospital that much of a problem you need to ask yourself whether it's really the empath that is the problem. -

It doesn't "neuter" them in any way, it makes you think a little about what you're doing instead of hold -> win.
Let's say for instance there is a team of 8 heroes and 8 villains in Sirens. Even if there is 2 emps on the hero side and only 2 doms on the other, unless you leave the empaths to continually spam CM without giving them something else to think about you should have no issues whatsoever stacking holds over 2 or 3 stacked CM.
Another example of the disparity that arises in this kind of argument. In Sirens on, I believe, wednesday of this week there was a certain Dom who was spamming [censored] about CM being overpowered to a blaster I was teamed with on my emp, while at the same time 2 other doms and a corr were holding this same blaster over very highly stacked CM in a matter of seconds. Lowly dom attacking on his own loses then gets all [censored] off and comes on the boards and talks a load of [censored]. The villains who were in an equal sized team to ours competed very well and the fight remained quite even for a long time. Everyone goes away happy.
If anything I think domination could use a little tweaking, it's back far too often for something so powerful when used correctly, imo.

CM is the only power that can negate three of the inherent AT powers (hide, containment and domination), and also the main characterictics of trollers and domis primaries. Such a powerful power also can be granted from long range, has a fast recharge, doesn't have to hit and can be perma stacked. Enough for me to need a 'tweak'.

It doesn't negate them in any way, just makes their job a little more difficult. I was keeping a team of 4 heroes perma stacked up with 3 or 4 CM in Sirens a few nights back and the villains team of 2 doms and 2/3 corruptors were regularly stacking holds over that so it can't be that diffcult to do.
Same goes for hide, it's only as big of a problem as you suggest if the stalker is completely reliant on AS, and if you pick up invis you can only be seen at 10 yards no matter how many CM you have.
It will make your life very difficult if you are one of these ATs solo and going up against an empath buffed blaster for instance, but then you're solo against a duo so you should be getting whooped. Also, remember that if there isn't another mez resist buff going round you can just hold the emp.. -

2 holds with domination stacks over 1 CM and it really isnt difficult to stack 5+ holds on someone in a very short period of time. If CM didnt stack from the same caster Domi's would need nerfing.
