Quote:No they aren't. Especially if they are filled with words like "reguarly"Which are actually reguarly complimented upon by random folk who actually appreciate the use of game lore.
Most of the time, I rarely bother reading bios. I don't like tying people down to a piece of work they may have written a while ago and just failed to update appropriately.
Provided the story makes sense and doesn't constantly trip itself up, I'll roll with it. -
Quote:That's my issue with his "RP Lore"The problem most people here have is that YOU are trying to write the game lore. It's the problem that I have, at least.
It's not trying to adapt key lore from the game. It's the arrogant attitude that his storyline is somehow so magical that the development staff may be so impressed that they may add it to the game! And anyone who disagree just doesn't respect the game as much as he does.
To pass off himself as a "lore junkie" is insulting to every lore fan in the game. I love the Green Lantern. But I'll be damned if I think any possible fan story I could write is better than The Blackest Night. -
Based on the spoilers, it sounds like it's going to go much quicker.
And I'd place the blame Darabont as well. Especially since he was hoping to interject the slow pace of the arc with the battle of Atlanta episodes, which I presume was supposed to create the illusion of a quicker paced season
Also, Tony Moore is now suing Kirkman over the Walking Dead. Mind you, his lawsuit sounds like garbage. -
A few days left folks.
Some rumors about the rest of Season 2 were squeaked out today.
Some from a credible source. Some from not so credible of source. I'll avoid detailing them here since they will ruin the season. PM me if you want specifics.
And final piece of "Something to Fear" art was posted today. And it was a doozey.
I'm going to predict it'll be my favorite arc since "Fear the Hunters"
Also, the Cutting Room HC book is due out in about six weeks. It contains art and storylines from the comic that were shelved for a multitude of reasons. -

Quote:You aren't. According to Ghost Falcon at leastWhy should I have to pay for something I already have? It comes off as greedy.

Quote:There are 17 items within this Pack.
- 14 New Costume pieces.
- There are two dances offered as a bonus for purchasing the pack. (and yes, they are existing dances)
- The Pocket D Teleporter is also a bonus for purchasing the pack.
-
I'm on board as long as Tier 2 can be this guy...
and Tier 3 can be...

Quote:That's what it was. Thanks.Positron said there could be a delay between the end of Who Will Die? Part 7 and the first part of the next SSA.
According to Ghost Falcon, the emotes and teleporter aren't factored into the cost the bundle

Take that as you will, I suppose. -
Quote:If I had to venture a guess, it's because Spring Fling starts tomorrow.I wonder why they didn't put SSA #6 up this is when they usually put the SSAs up.
Episode 2 came out 9 days before the Halloween Event. Episode 4 came out 7 days before the Winter Event.
So probably next week. Though, I could have sworn I read somewhere the next episode was going to be delayed. Or maybe I'm thinking of the time between Episode 6 and 7. -
Not sure if directly related to the points and tokens issues...but...
Some of our accounts are nearing another yearly anniversary. And by nearing, I mean at least 30 days away (Two in March, one in April). Three have recently received an extra global slot. The first one received it about three weeks ago. The second account received it about two weeks ago. And the third account received it today.
One account that does not have the anniversary coming up did not receive the extra slot (It's creation date is August).
Yearly badges were not awarded. All the accounts are on similar point purchase cycles (Usually one week apart or so). No extra Tokens were awarded -
Besides the pack, it looks like a sale on rename and respec tokens. And x5 Unslotters.

Quote:Minor researching skills are your friends.Until you provide a link, i'll just say your trying to make yourself look good while claiming to have inside knowledge, which you don't.
Especially when the preview of the issue was posted about a week ago by Beastyle. -
Quote:This.\I have taken another dozen or so to Primal to keep playing them, but I really like the idea of keeping some of them purely Praetorian.
I have six characters that will remain in Praetoria (or will leave for Primal if they can retain their original Loyalist/Resistance alignment and not be shoehorned into the four Primal alignments).
Waiting in Praetoria paid off for First Ward, I just hope they continue to expand that content up to level 50. -
Occasionally
It depends on changes to their story. One of my characters was 17 when I created her. Once she took on roles within a supergroup, I aged her to 22. -
One week left folks.
For fans of the comics, Kirkman has been posting teaser art for the next arc "Something to Fear" (starts with issue 97).
I'll avoid detailing the specific content of each of the art...but speculation is running rampant that a certain pair of brothers will be making their comic debut. -
Much like I wouldn't put a pillow over the face of an actual child, I couldn't imagine putting one over the face of my digital children.

Quote:Yeah. That's not the case.I love how long-term players love to piss on any suggestion they don't like.
In fact, it was brought up again during this week's Freedom Fridays.
Here's the response
"Sorry, there are no plans for a grappling hook travel power. While it has been widely requested, there's no good way to make it work animation-wise; the player would either be grappling onto nothing in mid-air, or would be swinging from a floating device of some kind." -
Quote:It's a different situation. Lein Wein assigned Moore to work on Swamp Thing. Later, he was told he could do whatever he wanted with series once Wein was out as editor. Even with the Killing Joke, Moore didn't waltz into DC and ask to write a Batman book, Brian Bolland requested Moore specifically.I do love Moore's statement though. It's true that using characters he created is unoriginal. After all he is such an Extraordinary Gentleman I'm sure he would never think of something so unoriginal as using characters created by somebody else. And he definitely wouldn't ever think of writing a comic that used comic book superheroes created by somebody else.

Quote:Whether it works for another company or not is irrelevant.Again, if only I could give the example, then you'd see that it is already working without invasion with this other Asian MMO company that recently bought some spacey MMO and other superhero MMO... whoops
I'm not interested in filling out a Procter and Gamble survey on my bowel movements so they can better market Pepto-Bismol to an MMO crowd.
Even if it netted me a sweet Pepto-Bismol dripping trail aura. -
In a sense.
When I came back to the game, I made a new character instead of continuing my original scrapper from April 2005.
So I guess I just altered who was considered my "main" character.
I don't generally reroll. Occasionally, I create a character then scrap character and and the concept to an existing character's established backstory.
