I havent taken much notice, and may of missed any anncouement/opatch notes. So are the PVP IOs back as drops?

And my understanding of the drop rate is you can get the chane for one to drop every five minutes; but in that 5 minutes time, it doesnt matter if you keep killing/dying, it gets reset at five minutes after last chance for drop?

And can you view rep in the arena?

I didnt get as much inf as planned, my IO's didnt sell as fast as normal. Almost slowed down sales from my normal range.

I was less buzzed about this dblXP weekend.

A mix of patrol XP & altitis means most of the time I'm playing at 1.5XP so the extra 0.5 isn't the big draw card.

I was hoping for reactivation weekend as well, 'cause I like the extra load of teamage to happen. Wasn't _hard_ to find teams by any means, but it wasn't overflowing which has been my impression from previous dblXP weekends

Mapserved a lot on Virtue on the sat night (US time). But nothing too painful, or much more than my usual.

Was a lot of fun. Popped the holiday spirit debt protection on most of my toons, and went crazy. Lots of low teen toons into 20's, a few into 30's.

I strongly dislike the same password for game account and forum account. That's more than down right silly that it can't be changed to be different passwords.

I'm glad the boards are for most faster, if the new software was slow when it has a fresh database they'd be problems in the future.

I didnt like seeing the rep buttin, that seems to cause more angst than value in my experience.

Still want to change password from game account but links seems to want to change both.

Also glad I've lurked the EU boards, or it would be wierd seeing strangers with huge post counts

The timelord daylord Accolade (for Cimeroran & Ouroboros day job badges) gives +recharge and the Predator badge for PvP zones also gives +recharge.

The empowerment station in VG base can squeeze a bit more +recharge out as well.

You've never played in a rec center on game night, the open gaming room at a game con or online have you? That's pretty much the way it works. Oh you may get a "Gotta go" but usually its glance at watch or phone collect up cards, game pieces what have you and run. (Really common at cons when people want to attend panels or catch an event.)

I have attended many, and my experience differs a lot. I can't think of a time when a person in the middle of an IRL game got up and walked off without a word.
I'd consider anyone who did, to have more antisocial problems than the normal person. Just to stop a game, and walk off without even a 'bye', 'got to catch a bus', or 'you suck' is really the norm of what you've seen? wow.

Online is a different story, I'm much more used to the 'anonymous effect' the internet brings. 90% of the online games i've played at yahoo or the like have ended with 'unexpected' disconnects.

I dont have the same expectations for that type of manners in online games.

Click on your power tray to bring up the window displaying your primary/secondary/etc list of powers.
Click on the title of that.
You should then see the option to open combat attruibutes.

(away from game, so going off memory, may be a right click on the powers window)

Some ISPs throttle the port used for City of Heroes updater. There is a post by billzbubba (i think) detailing how to change the default port. I think the same info is available as a doc in the NCsoft help area.

If that doesnt help, zip your folder up, and rapidshare.com it. Will be quicker .... maybe ...
