*two thumbs up* Awesommmme!
-
So I have been working on this one for a few months. When I started in March my MM (Lord Volf Alteron) was 27, and had been so for quite some time. He's now 43, tho' I haven't touched him in a month or so. Damon, BB and Hyper-thermia were added when I picked it back up in August and at the time were in their low 20s. They're all in their 30s now. And Cap, Hizu and Echo have all gained a handful of 40s levels since March. This image sat mostly done starting a month or so ago, when I put it down to work on other things. But yesterday I finished up LVA and his wee entourage, and thus after much rambling, I present:
Liz's City of Chibi-o-Rama!
Freakin' suicidal medic....

Lines in Painter 6, everything else in Photoshop 7.
There is a small amount of space on the left side of the image for yet one more upcoming villain, when I get the urge to fit him in there and he finally hits 20...
I'm considering using the origin and AT icons I made and these chibis (as they are all on their own separate layers...) to make battle card whatisjiggers. Who knows. -
*trying to recollect when I joined*
How long ago was the WL event? Did it end in February '04 or '05? Haha, no seriously. I officially started playing right after the WLs were gone, but the ponds were frozen over. n_n -

<;_;> didn't I just talk about in this very thread (it could be a different one <,<that I'm actually a guy <O.@> and I keep getting mistaken for a girl? <o.@>

It's all your expressions/emotes. Very, very rarely do guys use so many emotes. Until this thread I thought you were a woman too, just for that reason. -

12" x 19"
Bigger is not always better but I like to have the extra room for the teeny tiny details.

*boggles* Your tablet is larger than my monitor! -
I've had an Intuous 9x12 for over five years now. It's fantastic, but just a wee bit big. I bought the 9x12 because that was the size of my sketchbooks at the time; but the tablet is considerably larger surface wise, than 9x12. So it never fit into my backpack. I used a 4x5 Graphire in a Mac lab for several years at college, and it was nice, but a wee bit small. When I upgrade I'm going for an Intuous3 6x8.

Amidst all the fantastic new submissions, I complete...

Ooh, a big hearty Congratulations! to Starchasm for passing the bar exam! (I once worked for laywers, back in high school. Good people, those two.)
And wow! To DJ for creating a very scrumtious piece! -
Gah there I things I need to be working on, but I needed a small break and started playing with something new of my own.

Painter 6
It's my character, Hinomizu; an original I adapted for play in the City of Heroes universe. I created him way back in high school as part of an anime-styled universe . I can't really imagine him drawn by me in any other style, actually. -

You were sympathetic for him?
He was complaining over having to pilot a giant robot to save the world.
[/ QUOTE ]
Lol ya really. I am no fan of the Eva series, save for the robot.. things.
"Hey Liz, we need you to pilot this giant mecha to save the world. "
Liz: ...."Rock on!" -

looking over the art from your site is like having a big box o candy !
you have caramels and fruit filled and nugett

I don't think I have multiple styles as much as lack of consistancy in absense of style. -

The biggest thing about the operation I remember was the injection to put me under... or more specifically, how fast that stuff worked. I swear, one minute I was thinking to myself "No way this stuff is going to work that fa," then I was waking up all groggy. Oddest feeling...
[/ QUOTE ]
LOL, that happened to me too! The doc gave me a local anesthetic, then put the needle in my arm and said, "Now I want you to count to 10, but you will be asleep before then."
And I said, "Yeah right! One, two... th-- *Snoooooore*" And when I woke up a few hours later I asked, "Wha? Are you ready to start yet?" And the nurse replied? "Start? No we're finished." -

I had mine taken out my junior year of high school. They punctured my sinus cavity AND I got a dry socketIt was TERRIBLE.
[/ QUOTE ]
Dry Socket *shudders*. My mother got Dry Socket when she had her wisdom teeth taken out. I had mine taken out right after high school. No complications, and damn was I happy to eat solid food again after the third or fourth day. No! No more yogurt! No more pudding! No more apple sauce! I NEED TO MUNCH! -
I think they're both fun sketches, actually. You have a really expressive, fluid style!

This will seem like an odd comment, but I do love the way you contruct your bodies.

Wow... this one is looking to be totally fantastic.
