To those who are saying Statesman missed two events, the Rularuu invasion and the Shadow Shard invasion:

He said "Halloween event". Isn't that when the Rularuu invaded, from the Shadow Shard?

Bottom line is this:

We can piss and moan about them, or we can teach them to play the game.

Which do you think will do you more good in six months when you're looking for a team?

Old thread, but just to add in case the devs see it; and 6 SO Range Enhance should make this do an average zone map corner-to-corner.

Get rid of Group Teleport and make the fourth power "Blind Teleport", but require that you already have that portion of the map visible, so people can't use it to totally bypass all the bad guys on hard maps.

And this might mean that the higher-level toon who just ran past you is in fact not powerlevelling his worthless buddies or hunting "your" Winter Lords; he may in fact be doing a mission in your zone for completely legitimate reasons. I've had 10th level characters with missions in Atlas Park and Galaxy City, and I've had a 15th with so many missions in King's Row that it made my head explode. Some folks on Triumph may remember the "jesus god could I get some missions that aren't in King's FREAKING Row" broadcasts the day I finally lost it.

When I read that rule, I didn't get "you can't manipulate anybody else's art as part of your submission". I got "your submission can't consist of somebody else's art with nothing but minor photoshopping, which happens in every freakin' online art contest and really annoys the bejeezus out of us."

I mean, the contest allowed you to use images from the website. That, by definition, is photoshopping somebody else's work. Unless you want to capitalize Photoshop and say "I used The Gimp".

There have been TWO modern Green Arrows in DC. There's Hawkeye in Marvel. DC's Arsenal (formerly Green Arrow's sidekick Speedy) and Huntress use crossbows. Image had Shaft. Top Cow has Arwyn, who is technically not modern, but her comic (Sojourn) is popular right now. And watch, when I mention Legolas, some female is going to swoon right here in the thread.

There are a lot of archers, and there will be more when they give us the power set.

Please let the next one stew on the test server longer. Remember, we held those protests in City Hall to get Issue 2 on TEST, not on production. IMHO, in an ideal world it wouldn't be live even now.

You should read the forums more often. Last week they announced that you could pre-download the update and not have to sit through it when it went live.

All you had to do was log on, and then when you logged off it started downloading. Then just let it download instead of cancelling.
