I have opted to download this for the reactivation weekend for the fifth year anniversary.
Like the poster who said it's going 8.7k/sec sloooow, I, too am having this problem. I have quit (after all night/479mb of 2.5 gigs) just to see if the next time I connected it went faster. It did not. And it started over at 0 (guess I don't need to worry about piggs files being cached >.<
I live in the middle of nowhere, I AM on broadband, and I've checked my speeds, my connection is just fine. I can download other things at maximum speed just fine. So what to do? No apple stores within 250 miles of me.
