  1. I like to think of Poison Ivy of as a Terranitarian instead of a Humanitarian. Humanitarians focus on humans while Terranitarians focus on Terra (Earth).

It seems that TV executives hate realistic SF shows. The ones that do really well are the ones that are so far into the future or advanced alien technology that science doesn't matter.

    One Piece Anime

The 4kids version is so bad that I only watched 2 episodes to see how bad it was. Currently watched 463 episodes of it and 597 chapters of it and while there are better animes, Code Geass comes to mind, it is the best long running anime.

It does, but for a good laugh.

So I assume that the top 2 cars are for loading and unloading passengers while most of the people stay in the bottom car until they are ready to get off.
  7. It is not known how much will be lost if humans are downloaded into robotic minds. We could have the personality and memories of our human form, but we might lose compassion, innovation, curiosity, and enjoyment. Or we could die when our minds are downloaded into a robotic body and we have a duplicate of ourselves with none of the intangible quantities that humans possess. After all, you can't find Justice, Compassion, or Curiosity anywhere in the universe, but in our minds. Becoming cybernetic organisms should give us the best of both worlds.

There is also the possibility of evolving to a certain point where we can travelling to anywhere we wish just by thinking of it. If we all become robots or cyborgs, then humanity won't reach that point.
  8. The only thing I could think of is Key the Metal Idol, but it is an anime, main character is a female, not a comedy, and she doesn't eat batteries. Might want to try a manga forum since it doesn't look like anyone knows.

I can't imagine anything they did in the past would have had any more significant effect than that. At best they would have affected 2 to 3 'steps' into the future before the effect faded. But a man going missing for several years? Every choice he would have made, every event he would have participated it and the people he had influenced... The resulting change would have greatly outweighed anything they did for the few moments they were in the past.

So, we now have a simple (well, plot-wise) solution to their problem. Send old-school back to the past and almost everything goes back to normal. I'm assuming this will happen as a season finale, and the cliff hanger will be the realization that not everything is normal... or perhaps something is even made worse.
I have a hunch that Grant was responsible for bringing the artifact to Eureka and its connection with Kevin caused the autism and due to either it or some research as a result of it causes Zane to help out and get close to Jo. The artifact could be the problem that Beverly needs Grant's help with. In one timeline, the artifact was found years ago because Grant found it while it is still missing in the current timeline.
  10. I have a feeling that a lot of the changes that happened to Eureka are based around the Artifact not being available. Kevin not being autistic and Zane not attracted to Jo seems to be the most noticeable ones.
  11. There is also certain "diseases" like autism that have people think in a different way compared to "regular" people. I don't know too much about it, but I assume that if almost everyone was autistic and there was a minority of people that thought normally, then the normal people would have a mental illness. Some mental illnesses are based on the cultural norms of the time while there are a few actual mental illnesses where there is something wrong with a person's brain. Schizophrenia could be all in a person's head or seeing beyond the barrier that exists between realities. One scenario is a result of some problem with their brain while the other is where there is nothing wrong with them, but both end up with the same treatment.

  14. Say you did a tip at 9 PM, 10 PM, and 11 PM. Then you can do another tip at 5 PM, 6 PM, and 12 PM.

    True Blood, 8/15

It will be interesting to see which deaths are avoided in the TV show. Lafayette has a more dramatic role in the show and is one of the favorite characters on the show if not the most favorite character for some people. Will be interesting to see how long Hadley and Sophie Ann last since I don't think Hadley was ever in the books as a active participant and Sophie Ann has changed too much to be considered as the same character in the book.
  17. Here are some that weren't mentioned, Dresden Codak, PS 238 and 8 bit Theatre. Dresden Codak deals with mad scientists, philosophy, robots, cyborgs, and transhumanism. PS 238 deals with a normal kid in a school of the children of superheroes. 8 bit theater deals with a bunch of adventurers that usually cause more damage than good.
  18. So if I am a villain, then I can change my alignment to Rogue and get Scoundrel. Wait 7 days and get Trickster. Change my Alignment to Hero and get Ascended and Resolute. Wait 7 days and get Heard the Call. Change my Alignment to Vigilante and get Above the Law. Wait 7 days and get Fearsome. Change my Alignment to Villain and get Descended, Dastardly, and Come Full Circle. Wait 7 days and get Frenzied. Sounds interesting. Guess I have to remember to get rid of my Alignment merits every so often.
  19. Can you gain all the Achievement badges or are they restricted to what your current alignment is? For example, you can't have Fearsome and Heard the Call at the same time.
  20. I have to agree that One Piece is the better anime. While the combat in One Piece is good, I prefer the scenes that don't have any combat. Naruto has its moments of brilliance while Bleach rarely has any moments of brilliance.
  21. Only filler I ever liked on Bleach is the Power Ranger parodies with Kon, Ururu, Jinta, Don Kaonji, and Karin. There was also the prequel filler episode and the beach filler episode that was good. If it is a filler arc, then it almost always is not worth watching. Naruto had a couple of filler arcs that were good.
  22. So we will be getting a taste of incarnates in I18.5 instead of I18? Good to know. At least it is just one tiny part of the incarnate system instead of the whole thing.
  23. I would like to see the 5th Column gladiator awarded for having two or more anniversary badges instead of just the first two.
  24. Just a new sword that looks organic like the organic armor.
