The longer people live, the more likely they will commit suicide. People are just not made to live forever. After 1000 years, you have pretty much completed all your dreams and have to come up with more complex dreams to keep you from being bored. The term bored to death applies to people who live for too long.

Telltale games has a few of their games based on paying a fee for the "season" and release an episode every month until the season is over. However, their games are too linear to do something similar to Mass Effect as far as affecting content in the next season. It is a possible subscription model you could do, but they keep the price of a season to be about $30. Could always have Season 1.0 and Season 1.5 be $30 to $40 which seems to be a common method for TV DVDs with erratic scheduling like Battlestar Galactica.

Chances are that it would be a buff and debuff set with a hold, heal, rez, a buff that increases movement speed and recharge, and a debuff that decreases movement speed and recharge. There is also the possibility of a +defense buff and a -defense debuff. There will most likely be some similarities between Kinetics and Time Manipulation.

Your timeline appears too much like clockwork. Every 5,000 years something happens. Some points could have their time extended and others reduced so it appears more natural. Also, I would have it so that the timeline is not known from the start except more recent events. As your character proceeds, more and more history is added.
I assume there would be a survey for those people that didn't buy a previous season or episode for those decisions from previous episodes that affect this episode like making Earth join the Council.
Sounds like an interesting game. -

Quote:Release dates are always subject to change. October appears to be the accepted release date for Freedom, but delays could make it come in November or it could come in September. For all we know it could come next year.I have absolutely no idea why "October" keeps getting thrown around by the playerbase. AFAIK, *NOTHING* has been said to indicate October. And then adding "or November"? Where did *that* come from?!
Besides I indicated my information as a rumor and to be treated as such. Anyone that says that they know when it will launch either knows the future or is mistaken. This even applies to devs since they have their planned release dates that are always subject to change. The more experienced devs never release a release date until a couple of days before it is released.

So thats how superheroes are like in San Francisco.

Heard that it will launch around October or November, but I could be wrong. Starting July 1, you get 400 points for every month you are subscribed for. It is one of the perks VIPs get.

If this is in the same style as Baccano, then I have to see it. My favorite part of Baccano is when Isaac and Miria realize they are immortal, 70 years after they become immortal.

Spoilers
The end of the second episode brings about amnesiac Eric. Have to see if he is just like amnesiac Eric from the book. They are also bringing Werepanther Jason into the show as well. -
According to my understanding of the Sookie Stackhouse mythology, only select Fae become Angels. Not everyone can become an FBI agent and the same applies to Angels. Not sure about Demons, but there was a demonic lawyer and he didn't seem Fae.

Hulk laughing. Giggling like a schoolgirl or using the classic maniacal laugh would terrify me more. Wearing a pink dress while using one of those laughs would worry me even more. Angry Hulk is a predictable Hulk. Crazy Hulk is far more dangerous than any other Hulk.

There is also the Hero Gear Kit. Which gives the exclusive bonuses of the CoH Collector's Edition, but not the game. This is how I got the VIP badge. Whether it is available now I don't know.

Can lift up to 70 kg? Seems that is more useful as a hoverdrone than transporting Batman around.

Lived a long life and I can't feel sad for anyone that has lived that long for passing away. Death is merely the end of one journey and the beginning of another.

Quote:It is called Premium In-Game Customer Support for a reason. Meaning that free players will still get ingame support, but VIPs will get a faster response. If free players had no support then it would be called In-Game Customer Support instead of Premium In-Game Customer Support. It might take only 5 minutes at the most for a VIP to get support while it will take 5 minutes to 5 hours to get support for everyone else.Hadn't seen that chart. Well it's certainly good to see that GMs will only be available to VIP accounts.
As far as subscribing to the game after Freedom hits, I have no idea. I like playing all the characters restricted ATs (Masterminds, Controllers, and EATs) and I have a character that would work better in concept as a Demon/Time Mastermind rather than as a Demon/Poison Mastermind. Will wait until I know the differences between the Premium and VIP players such as exclusive ingame content and how Premium restricts my characters such as Inventions and Incarnate content. -
Moral High Ground, Loyalist, and Resistance Member.
The other badges listed are duplicates of the same badge that heroes and villains get. For example, damage taken, debt paid, inf gained, etc. -
For the OP, if you want purples just for selling them for inf, then buying Luck of the Gambler: Recharge Speed with Alignment Merits is a more certain way. Can get about 100 to 200 million every 4 days. Just run tip missions at the maximum difficulty you can handle. If you can handle +0/x8, then go for it, but +0/x4 would increase your chances as well. There are other methods to generate inf.

Quote:There are two types of scientists, actual scientists and phony scientists. The only true scientists are the ones that work in the pursuit of improving human's understanding of the universe.I hate when newspapers or comparable media quote mention supposedly scientific studies without disclosing details, making the "scientific" part de facto worthless, because it could aswell be done by rubbing matchsticks together over the skull of a guinea pig and shouting "KAZA KALOOM!".
Oh, and "scientists" doesn't make "science". Case in point people who do studies with a minimal amount of people and with extreme sample bias and call it representative (most studies regarding various supposed harm effects from various sexual activities).
Generally I think newspapers should be completely outlawed and replaced by scientific papers.
Oh, I don't mean to imply this is the case here btw, I jsut got carried off. I'd be very interested in the details nonetheless.
I find any person trying to understand such a chaotic system like human behaviour to be misguided. People don't react in a predictable manner. -
The idea of mad scientists building robot armies has been around for years. Music video has nothing to do with masterminds.
