personalized, persistent arch enemy with a ongoing serialized arc that pops up from time to time for personal flavour.
for anyone that suggests the ae (as ingame canon) it's 'just a virtual experience'.
pvp flags in praetoria set at a personal level similar to friends, allowing several levels of access* from one to one, through to one to all. neutral territories can be inherently dangerous after all, and if i were recluse or states and learned one of my own was about to jump the fence, i might send someone to dissuade them.

how has 'i16:going rouge' not been mentioned? it's the obvious choice on this one, and the one i'll be sticking with

So when did the Devs say they'll add the option to disable custom power colors on the client-side?

for hamidon to actually seem like it matters.
for instance: in the hive have it start moving up the hill and beat against the war wall.
as a large blob of goop have it split into 2 or something.

so how are Io's gonna work in this process....???
are the power's you switches gonna take the Io
s you had in that power??
[/ QUOTE ]
i see the process as being no different than tinting a melee weapon is now. it'll potentially be the same drop down / click window under a "powers" title. pick your power, pick your tint, and/or animation if it goes that far.
i really doubt it would require having to reslot the power.
looking forward to a rad blaster.

given the animations we see are client based from a server side communication we need to overcome the potential for network lag to work against the team in reliably hitting the interrupt portion of the repairmen pretty much on spawn in.
does such a gap exist?
to date i've seen repairmen fall over when a 'long lasting' aoe is present on the spawn point, and the interrupt moment AND a damage tick coincide. so far, i've seen that work about 10% of the time, but that's obviously no where near enough.
overlapping multiple 'long lasting' aoe's whether toggle or click (burn comes to mind) with enough of an offset to have as many damage ticks occurring across as much time as possible could, conceivably ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2y8Sx4B2Sk ), overcome.
is it likely? nooooooo idea.

i hadn't thought about/been to alot of these places for a very long time. revisted monkey fight club, the abandoned cubicles, and the dev lounge yesterday. the cage areas in nerva have a nice bit of creepiness to them.
the matrix room is new to me though. someone mind mentioning how to get in there? -

It does not last long anyway, so then you would have to speed boost often with repetitive motions. You need to worry about carpal tunnel, and its long term effects on your quality of life, so if people give you a hard time, remember, you need to take care of yourself first. Also, try not to use your attacks much. They will just get you in trouble and tick off the maniacs in the mission.
Step 7: When you get fulcrum shift, try not to use it too much. It is a neat looking power, but then you have to stand close to the granite tanker and he is big and ugly. Ugly people suck.
Step 8: As you obtain higher levels, sb any granite tankers you see and tell them to friend you. You do not need to add em as friends on facebook, but in the game you can actually friend people. It is cool. If they don't answer you, they are big and mean and may have ignored you for spamming way back 4 hours ago when you were level 1. If they friend you, you will always get invites when you log on.
Step 9: Go AFK and get some dinner. You are probably hungry and have been on line now for 8 or 9 hours. Eat something really healthy like Pizza or french fries or both. Remember earlier how I said to take care of yourself. And do your laundry. No reason not to be hygenic after all. The team really does not have a need for you, but knowing a kin is on the team will make them fight more confidentally. Don't work too hard to make dinner and do chores. You need to maintain your gamer's body after all. A little extra fat will cushion your wrists and may even protect the the nerve compression from carpal tunnel syndrome.
Step 10. Ding, you hit 50. Awesome. You deserve it totally. Immediately quit the team, even mid mission and log this character off. You have no idea how to use the character anyway and there is no point in learning now. Just make an empath, and start spamming healer lf AE farm. You will have another 50 in a couple of days. That's two 50s. Totally Awesome.

What about a fire/rad with hotfeet/choking cloud combo for that situation? If I'm available next week, Ill offer up the services of my fire/rad Ace O' Diamonds (lvl 50) to try it out. plus id like him to get the MoSTF badge too

it appears as though the interrupt gap on the repair cycle has been dropped to about 1/2 sec, effectively during the spawn, as they hit it on the momentarily invulnerable part on fade in.
from what i've seen so far, choking cloud 'seems' to have the best chance of stopping the repair guys. regular rains don't 'seem' to have much effect on them for some reason. why that is, i can only speculate, perhaps it has to do with the hold portion or ticks and the chance of crossing points with the repairers at the interrupt, which makes choking no more effective than any other and it's simply subjective bias.
i could see a near all controller/defender or any a.t. with 'always on' aoe's team potentially making a difference with overlapping powers to hopefully hit when a damage tick and interrupt moment coincide. hard to say without testing.

pleasure to make the acquaintance. -
i'm leaning towards having lvl 10 be the minimum lvl the ae becomes available and allowable to use.
for many it really isn't an inconvenience to get to 10, and for new players the game has a chance to appear a bit larger than just the ae building and learn a few basics along the way.
having said that, it would mean taking the ae offices out of atlas and co.
no, it doesn't solve the human condition.

Not unless it didn't make it into the patch notes.
*shrug* Might be harder to fix than anyone realizes.

wwwwwwwweeeeeqqqqqqqqqqqsssMaybe so.
You'd think it would be high priority since it can actually "remember" your password from the login screen. If someone isn't paying attention, they could pretty easily broadcast their password to an entire zone.
It's not just a chat bug. It's a security issue, imo.
[/ QUOTE ]
interesting perspective on the chat bug, and one that needs to verified. to date i have seen a very few instances of captured text from a previous text session showing up due to the chat bug. at most it's been the last few letters of the previous text or a string of movement/action keying.
have you had it happen to you or have you seen it happen to someone else?
under what circumstances was a password revealed?
did it include a user name?
are a significant number of global names and account login names the same? (if yours, the reader's is, then obviously change it for your own peace of mind)
inquiring minds and all that.

Someone posted it a couple of weeks ago. They were very distraught. I haven't yet had time to find what thread they used.
Personally, I've had it remember a piece of my password upon login. I caught it, so I wasn't bothered by it too much. It happened after quitting to the login screen.
I also understand that without someone's username, it's harmless to see their password in chat. The only problem is that some people aren't quite as security conscious as others, so there's a chance that using a broadcasted password (if recognized as such) along with using a person's global name might allow access to the account.
In my time as a Titan Network helper, we actually had someone send us their username and password to link their account with the Titan sites. It was flattering for them to trust us like tat I suppose, but it showed just how careless people can be with their personal information.
(Note: The Titan Network never asks for sensitive personal information from any of their users. The above example was a mistake by the user. The user was informed that it may be wise to change their password just in case.)
