    The Tally

I accomplished all of my goals:
    1) Getting my brute out of Praetoria
    2) Troller on Infinity from 32=>35
    3) Blaster and Scrapper on Champion from 32=>35
    4) Defender on Justice from 31=>35 and Scrapper on Justice from 32=>35
[why do my toons get stuck in early 30s?!]

I did some random lvling in addition to my goals. A new troller on Liberty went from 3=>10, mostly on Frostfire mish. I got a lvl here or there on others.
  2. I want to get more into Corruptors and want my secondary to be between Thermal, Sonic, and Cold. What are pros and cons of the three? I am least familiar with Thermal--does it debuff well enough?

I will just go ahead and admit why this doesn't work for me...I AM AN AIRHEAD! I would probably leave these areas, jump into a +4 mob and then say, "OMG, I forget to toggle up" LOL.

I am the OP and my only *true* complaint is how annoying it is to job to the area to use the market in Praetoria. Power suppression? If you must, but allow me to walk/run/jump faster to the booth.

    Bring it! LOL
  5. Why is there this suppression in the Auction House in Praetoria? I can't think of a good reason why the devs did this. Sometimes I try to give understanding about something I don't like because the devs had a good reason, but I can't begin to think of how this makes anything better or more fun for anyone...

It took me until my mid-40s to feel like I was decent at all. The challenge was fun and I liked being one of the few Ice Tanks around, though. I can't speak to the numbers as much as others who will respond to you, but once I hit those upper levels, I became pretty badass.

I can confirm this. They are ending here and starting a "related" FF title in several months.
  8. I need to get my brute out of Praetoria (just need 3 levels).

I also have about 5 toons in the 32-33 range that I want to get to 35 so they are ITF worthy. I will try to run Katie a couple of times on each and should make it.

Katie anyone on Justice, Champion or Infinity?

It is a late bloomer for trollers, but these days just jump on the 5 main TFs and you are mid-30s before you blink if you want to "bloom" faster.

I have always wanted to like Earth as a primary. I had 2, still have one (Earth/Emp), but just can't get there.

Edit: Yes, I know there are 6, but the first 5 TFs get you to mid-30s pretty much is what I meant.
  10. Sorry, I know that was off topic.

Once, a long time ago, I was kicked from a synapse because my emp/ was using tp as a travel power and the leader in the second mish realized that and said it was an end hog and I shouldn't be so stupid. Then I was kicked. Fun stuff.

    rofl lmao
  13. I keep seeing the hate on the forums, so I am just giving my Gravity/Cold Troller some love here. She is a lot of fun to play and holds her own very well. Just wanted to share...
  14. I agree with what was said earlier in that I would need to know how it is broken.

Having said that, I pay more than I have for things these days, but I also sell items for more than I used to. To me, it balances out just fine. I get so much more salvage than I need, too, that it is never a problem.

True enough. And Hal Jordan was dead for quite some time. Now if we could just keep the dead, dead.

I actually stopped reading most comics (*GASP*) because it just became so convoluted and everything was a retcon that I just was over it. I didn't know Jean has been dead so long (GOOD FOR THEM! ATTABOY), but I have no doubts she will be back after some time.
  17. Death just means so little in comics. How am I supposed to get emotional about marketing hype?

The ONE comic resurrection that I could swallow easily is that of Jean Grey because of the mythos that is the Phoenix. Having said that, I thought the issues of the X-men where the team went through literally years (real time) of mourning and adjustment were so interesting and had so many layers of depth that it is unfortunate that she did come back.

I know the media is jumping all over the Torch dying, but really? I am surprised when time has proven that nobody stays dead.

I would actually protest one of the FF dying more than any group because of their history and the fact that they are the "FF" and not just "The Avengers" where replacement makes sense. I don't have a protest, though, when I know he will be back.
  18. I posted something similar (although must less detailed) a few weeks ago. I totally agree with the OP. I don't really see much advantage to "being able to team with anyone" because of the fact that I have many alts (hero and villain) on every server I play. I can still do that without the disadvantage of, what I consider to be, lesser rewards.
  19. I started this thread, but still have my 72 months badge, not I am not so new.

The market does feel like it has been around forever. I remember when the building itself popped up before we really knew what it was. Now I can't imagine CoX life without it. I remember the awesome reward for TFs was an SO. Now I am not so thrilled when an SO drops unless I am in my 20s or below.
  20. Thanks Dech. Funny thing is, I have been "back" for quite some time. I just didn't know the answer to the questions!
  21. I started in i3 and left for a few months right around CoV went live (not sure of the specific issues I missed).

I just have a two questions that I have been wondering about:
    1) I hear the game only went to level 40 when it started. I think my first 50 was i4 or i5, so can someone tell me when lvl 50 was added?

    2) Sorry if this sounds ridiculous, but I remember coming back from my break and it seemed like there was a new type of inspiration. I don't remember the "resist damage" inspirations when I was first playing. I only remember the "defense" ones. Am I crazy? I know I could be totally wrong about this, so I thought I would just ask.

  23. Thanks for the input and I hope so...I have 2 Fire tanks and haven't had this problem by 38!

I started in i3, so I could be wrong, but wasn't Super Strength already there in i0?
  25. Is there something about an electric tank that just is inherently bad? I am lvl 38 and I have all of the Primaries and am fully slotted (but not with sets). I also have Tough and Weave, again both slotted (4 slots, but no sets).

I know when I am IO-ed out I will improve, but I have never had another tank perform so badly. I just did an ITF and I just couldn't stay alive.

    Thoughts?
