  3. Ok to answer and for an update:
    I've decided to go with brute, mainly because I can put out more damage while playing the brute, and still have a high def as well (not more than tanker, but it works.)

    I've never hit 50 with a brute.
    For defense wise, and running tf's. I have a stone/stone/stone tanker who is capable of this.

    I do like the idea of having cap defense so that I can eat a red instead of a purp. But in the long run, whats more damage for me?

    Remember as of now, this brute is going to be a farmer. Mainly for tickets, and can help farm friends. I'll be running a fire farm if that helps out.

    I might be leaving something out... not sure... this won't be my main, but I will be running tf's for the shards, and merits. (mainly just imperious, apex, and tin mage, or lady grey)

    Let me know guys! Also I read something about a global recharge of 50+ gets a decrease?

    If anybody has any build's to post I'd appreciate it. I'll post another up whenever I change it around in mid's about this new found information.
  4. OK I will consider something else besides Obliteration. My Brute is currently 35. I'll redo another build and try for better endurance (My Current ones are end heavy.)

  5. For my desired damage/recharge I'm getting stuck at about 40& s/l and melee - Is it worth it to drop my damage down for the soft cap?

  7. Interesting build. On my build, with consume up every 55 seconds, will I run out of end in a minute?

    And I did want the most dmg effiecent toon more than defense. I liked how you got my end covery up. I'll have to mess around if my end will be a problem
  8. B oth of you just made it even a harder decision haha - i want to be a killing machine but have fun!

    ANyways heres my brute build i came up with: its expensive, but im not worried about inf.

    This makes me lean more on brute. What's gonna be better for my style? Tank has combustion, but brute has fury, which will overall do more dps? I'm thinking my fury will be atleast 20... which is already higher damage than the tanker.

  9. Here is my brute build - with fury on brute is doing more damage, however tank has combustion, which will be overall dps?

    I also made the end mod better and am close to soft capping s/l and melee. Remember i want dmg and rec more than I want defense. Let me know guys, this make me lean more on Brute, looking forward to feedback.

  13. I'm debating on a brute or a tank with fire/fire/fire I can't decide. I came up with two builds that I think can serve me well.

    I'm more worried about recharge and damage then defense, but want to try and get soft cap, or as close to it as possible.

    Influence is not an issue. Please post what you think. Mainly will use this for all around PvE - and for ticket farming. I usually don't play solo - and play in teams.

    Both are relatively the same build, with recharge about the same, and close to soft cap S/L and Melee. - But with brute there is fury, which means more damage. But tank also has combustion as an extra AoE.

    Edit: Not sure about alpha, lemme know!

  17. Just got my ma/sr scrapper to 50 and am looking for the build for me. I've already searched around and can't seem to find 'the build' that I want to use.

    I want to have good defense and good offense, and I want this toon to be an all around player. What do you guys recommend?

    I'm not sure about the APP either body mastery or weapons?
    What alpha slot?
    Influence will not be an issue as I want to make this toon the best possible.

    If anyone has a build to post that would help I would greatly appreciate it =)

    I'll be taking storm kick, cobra strike, crippling axe kick, dragons tail, eagle claw, and focus chi.

    Under s/r I'll be taking everything except, elude or not elude?

    Power pools: combat jumping, hasten, boxing, touch, weave, anything else?

    I don't care about travel power ninja is fast enough for me.
