I can most definitely say that I will not be running a Season 2. And considering the fact that prior to the PvPEC starting the league there was a huge gap of organized PvP, I would wager that the community wouldn't run another, at least not for a while.

In regards to D6, it was what had to be done. The community before The League wasn't in a state that would allow a ladder to form, let alone a league with more than 4-5 teams. This was a new format we developed to accomodate the dismal state of the PvP community and IMO it has worked wonders. The idea was for D8 level players to teach new players in order for us to have a solid foundation for a ladder after The League. The point values assigned to D6 are also critical to the process. D8 is required to school their D6 if they want to have a shot at winning The League and D6 has to try in order to do the same and know their work isn't for naught.

And that marks the midway point of The League. I would like to thank all of those that have stuck it out, stepped up in leader roles and kept your teams alive. This league is a huge undertaking and requires a lot of time on everyone’s behalf and your participation is greatly appreciated. Please remember that everyone is still in the running for first place so keep practicing and good luck!

I currently run an eyefinity triple monitor setup with all three monitors running at 1680x1050. This game does not work properly spanned across all three in windowed mode. You don't gain any real estate by spanning it across three screens. Here are some screens I took.

It seems to zoom in and tilt the camera down. I made the character about the same size on my screen and used the floor tiling for scale. It bothers me.

So considering I have three monitors, HELL YES I would like to have the ability to use them. It wouldn't be very ULTRA without it.

Elec is probably the strongest taunt bot due to the heal, slow res and not being phased by heat ex. You trade those for a +hp power, but it's worth it. You also have to slot KB prot, but only enough for the occasional levitate. Take phase and never die.

Oh and Super Strength. Always SS.

We had over 200 signups for this league. I don't know if the test leagues held that many. I didn't play in the first one, but the second one didn't. And considering this is being held on a live server, it's pretty impressive.

I am not going to be participating in this ping pong politic game anymore. It's become a smidge too trying of my patience. Any captain that wishes to discuss anything regarding the league knows where to contact me. I would be more than happy to sit down for a vent conversation to hear what you have to say.

I would love to entertain the non-voting parties, but I grow weary of the dramatics.

To be precise, the captains all agreed it was fine. I don't really get a say.

It appears as if you are saying the intention wasn't to get new players to play alongside vets or that we shafted some players. Everyone that registered on time got picked. EVERY ONE. The late entries didn't all get placed. From my perspective, placing all of them would have been a detriment to the teams and a few getting to play is better than none of them.

Activity doesn't equate to numbers. We have a lot of people, we just don't practice enough. On match day we have more than enough to field the necessary number.

You're developing a conspiracy where there is none. I went over it extensively with Rick. I initially was going to place people on teams based on need, no draft. The other captains didn't like that idea and therefore didn't allow me to do it.

I didn't think we needed players. Silit felt otherwise. Our d6 activity isn't quite up to snuff.

Everyone that signed up IN TIME was drafted to a team. Every single one. Teams initially had 20 people on them. As for late entries, some teams needed people pretty badly. We had 39 late signups, to place all of them on teams would be detrimental to the teams because you have to play them. The captains would not have wanted all late entries to be let in. Sure I could have declined late entries any participation, but in order to fill team holes some were allowed in.

As for bias, the system is designed in a manner that there can be no bias. We don't edit rules, add rules or remove rules at any time. The only edit made so far was on banned powers and that was voted on. The only way rules can be modified is if all teams agree on the motion. I don't get a vote.

In regards to the topic of @-Fifa, I have gone over it extensively with Rick. I will save you the spill and just say I didn't tell anyone who that person really was. If you take the time to put the pieces together, you can see there was no bias on my behalf. U2BG drafted fourth in the second draft and fifth in the first. If that is somehow miraculously benefiting the team I play for then I am clearly missing it.

All of this is done and over, try not to dwell.

The everyone must play rule existed in both of the TPvPL leagues I played in. People not showing to practice is a notorious issue for former leagues as well. D6 was never meant for the style of commitment test players are used to, that is why you have a D8 team.

And if your issue is with the draft, you don't have to participate. But the other teams NEED more players, as predicted before the initial draft even took place. It wasn't a secret that late entries would be allowed in.
