I currently have a 50 Shield/Elec tanker that was quite fun to play and still do. The AT and power set to me is quite viable in all areas of PvE. I have no xp with PvP so can't speak in that area. I currently play my tank at 2 x 2 with no real delays in fights. The most fun you will have in my opinion is when you get your TP attacks for great openers. This power set has been the easiest to level and in getting a team. I have no problems in farms and I have only 2 IO sets in it (neither for defense). My suggestion is play the build if you have not started already and if on freedom look me up at toon name charged. sentinel , I will be happy to set a team up or take you on a 50 radio mission and show you what it can do.
