Ive tested this on two machines... if I log into the forums via the main page, i get an error stating that my password is wrong, if I use the smaller login box in the header I log in fine.

I used to be able to log in via the main login screen, and my password was saved in firefox

I have a RL friend (gasp) who has been playing this game since I gave him a copy that I got from GenCon waaaaaay back 7 years ago. He claims he has only gotten two purple drops in that entire time. I told him last night that I got another one and he threatened to rage-quit over it, partly because the CoH folks wont look into the possibility that there may be something wrong with his account (his words). I have been playing 9 months and have gotten 5 drops, and two in the last 2 days, another RL friend (even more gasps), who started at the same time as me and he has also gotten many drops.

I told him to keep sending bug reports...

same thing happened to me, my guess is that you were "refunded" any slots beyond the initial number if they weren't filled. I had two redeemed slots that I got from GR, one was empty before the change. after the change the slot was locked but it sai I had 1 available slot.

ok wierd, so I deleted an alt and then I eneded up with 2 slots I could open (on any server) but the one I freed up became locked, so I just redeemed one of the slots

I enjoyed the heck out of it, thanks devs...

guess we are canceling out weekly task force then with the SG... grumble grumble

had the problems with the trays again and alt did not fix them. it will only collapse to two trays, not one... if I hit alt it expands it to three, hit it again it shrinks to two, hit it again expands to three, etc... sometimes zoning will correct it (or cause it)

as for the the power Im setting on auto, it is not a targeted power, but Active Defense from the shield def set

background: Just updated my rig to an i7 2600k, 8GB RAM, and a GTX 470 video card

problem 1) occasionally when zoning, instead of having just one power tray, Ill have a second one stacked on top (like I clicked the ^ arrow in the menu bar). I can click that bar again and get three (as expected) but when I click the button again, it only collapses down to two. sometimes rezoning will fix this problem.

problem 2) it appears (I was not able to test this much) that auto powers (<ctrl>+<r click> on the power you want to autofire) doesn't work while this is going on.

Ive been running with a Plane/Earth Assault off and on for the last couple of weeks and so far she has been pretty fun and effective

I have a WP/FM tanker, and Im looking to re-roll him as a scrapper on another server

running with a Ill/Sonic right now and it is by far the most entertaining, non melee, set that I have run, its good on teams and solo, though I have dropped a few powers out of sonic

I just purchased a new PC though Cyberpowerpc.com I normally build my own, but they have deals that are too hard to pass up, it looks like it will arrive in a few weeks. I went with the nvidia GTX 470, 2600k i7, 8GB RAM, 2x 1TB 7500 RPM Hardrives (raid 0), and asus mobo for under 1500 (much closer to 1400)

so how does it work in health, will it be continually up?

I have a BS/SD scrapper, and I don't know whether to slot this in One with the Shield or Health... can anyone offer any insight?

the game has been going on for 7 years now, so naturally all the "cool" names would be gone, but what surprises me are the ones still available, and being a new player it makes me happy here are mine: 3D Girl - Illusion/Sonic controller Gargantuanne - SS/Inv Tanker all of 7' in height PrimeRib - BS/SD scrapper, minotaur of course... and my most recent, a plant/earth assault dominator called Dirty Hoe
