Invincible Faathim the Kind Task Force
Quote:Saturday September 12th 1:00pm EST (12 noon CST) (10:00am PST)Faathim: Freedom Phalanx considers you worthy of the most serious tasks imaginable. I am Faathim, called Faathim the Kind. You are beings of great power, both potent in might and dedicated to protection of the defenseless. I have watched your battles, and I have watched your triumphs, and I have come to think that you may be the ones who can stop a great destruction. The Madness that broke the world is gaining power beyond imagining, and may soon break the world once more. Or worse.
Go now, and fall upon the armies of the Rularuu. Destroy all of them within the three caverns I have located for you, and then return to me.

Notes:
- This is a task force challenge series, where both teams will seek a reasonably high difficulty level, depending upon the team composition.
- We do not generally speed run these adventures, though we do seek to make good time and enjoy being in the story.
- When doing a higher level challenge, the team lead needs to be in the zone before anyone enters the mission. Otherwise, the mission difficulty will default back to Heroic.
- For team composition, the suggestion is to have 1-2 tankers, and 2-3 blasters for AoE crowd control. However, we will not blindly attempt a difficulty that is beyond the team makeup. When unsure, we begin at Tenacious and gradually increase the difficulty.
- For Teams Two and Three, it is asked that there be a tanker for each team to provide good aggro management.

Taxibot Icy will be there in all her checkered glory. You do realize this is Labor Day weekend.
-
Taxibot Icy will be there in all her checkers! She's level 48, btw.... growing up to be such a lovely young taxi. Perhaps she'll make it to 50 !
-
Vit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh how I've missed you!!!!!!! Oh, Happy Daze!!!!!!!!!!! You're back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (In case no one figured this out - I really, REALLY am glad to see him back!
Let the good times roll!!!!!!!!!!!! -
I'll be bringing Taxibot Icy. She's level 46 ice/ice blaster.
-
I'll be there... Not sure which toon I'll bring.
-
I just bought the super science pack. I know the emotes that go with costume change, but are there any that are just emotes like the card trick that came with the magic pack? If there are, what are they?
-
Sign me up - Taxibot Icy insists she get the opportunity to do a tf. She's level 43 - ice/ice blaster.

I thinik it's a cool idea. I'll be adding that channel to the many I already have set up. I don't hate AE, however. I really enjoy the player-made arc's (some of them anyway) and appreciate the work some people have put into their creations. I created an arc, so I do know it's hard work, and very frustrating when no one plays it except for a few friends.
-
I'm so sorry, but I won't be able to make it this afternoon. Some out-of-town friends are stopping by this afternoon (this is a spur-of-the-moment decision on their part) and we really do want to spend this time with them. I will be back next Saturday.
-
I'll be there with an appropriate level toon. Not sure which one.. depends on which one will get to the right level.
-
How do I edit my signature? I can change things in my profile, but there doesn't seem to be an option for changing my signature.
-
I will be there with either Taxibot Icy (level 43) or Scrappy Brat (level 48,) whichever toon would fit in level-wise. I also have alts who are under 40 if they would be more appropriate.
-
I have a few level-appropriate alts who would like to do this. One is a plant/thermal (Natural Elements,) Another is an assault/device blaster (Delila Hazard,) and the third is a dark/dark defender (D'ark Defender.) Icy fought hard for this tf, even cheated to get it, then decided that since she's above the level cap and would not get any xp, she backed out. What a pain she can be.

I guess I've just not run into many "AE babies." Of course, I tend to stick with my friends, but, since I play so much, I also get on a lot of PuG's. I've enjoyed AE immensely. While a lot of the content is terrible (I quit those arcs as soon as I realize how bad it is,) much of it is fantastic. I love going against new critters with their unusual powers that provide a huge challenge. Many of the players provide funny, challenging, clever, etc. arcs that are more fun than the ones in regular arcs. I enjoy them immensely. I've been through 95% of the content, so having AE available has kept me interested in the game along with the many friends I've made here. Yes, there will be some terrible PL'd players because of AE, but then there were terrible PL'd players before AE.

I'm thinking Taxibot Icy would be more appropriate for this event. I'm quite interested in getting her to 50. She's level 42 ice/ice blaster. If this isn't good for the team, I have no problem sticking with my other choices.
-
Since Scrappy Brat already did this arc, I'd like to bring D'ark Defender or Natural Elements (plant/thermal troller.)
-
Hi, I'm back!!! Did ya miss me? Anyway, sign me up. Most likely I'll bring Scrappy Brat, level 45 spines/wp scrapper.
-
I will not be online next week. I'll be in Seattle visiting my son and his family.
-
I'll be bringing Taxibot Icy tomorrow. She's an ice/ice blaster.

I have no one on my server friends list that I actually have as a friend. The individual character name is useless as far as getting together with the person as he/she could be on another character. I find the global list much more useful. So, if there is a player I want to ignore and don't want him/her to know I am on line, would putting that person on my server friends list then set up to hide my server friends work? I'd know when that person is online, but I'd be hidden from him/her. I rely on my global friends anyway. I don't think you can get on anyone's global list unless you click "yes" at the prompt.
