  1. Mesmer has a good point - a mroe refined area possible like AH across servers would be great with better queing systems and more maps.
  2. If your looking for simple teaming then Emp/Rad/Dark tend to pick up teams nice and easily imo

    EM pulse does drain end too but the main use for it (imo) is the very alrge AoE hold.

    With how you want to use it I'd suggest it is fine just slot it for additional hold so that after you nuke all the mobs are still held and won't attack you while your weakend... If theres any left of course
  5. Agreed with TG to some extent there,

    With the spread of levels and the option of Arena why would another zone be needed.

    It would dilute the numbers that re in the zones already. Maybe simple tweaks to the existing zones would prove a better use of time if they look at the PvP cycle again.

    A better reward system seems very good although picking something that would not create farming (Lets not talk about RV though) is a dicey matter for the dev's as RV seems more of a Co-Op zone then RWZ does at times

  7. Yep as TG stated just live in arious PvP zones hunting down the opponenet without any quarter and after a long time you'll have the badges

    I'd agree with the rest although i play my claws lots and lots when it comes to AoE spines comes on top however be careful of the end issue but if you go regen should be fine with QR.

    I see you are swaying to claws.. I will say that claws still does great AoE damage with shockwave however in large teams it can annoy a number of your team mates with it's big KB. But it is stilla great life saver at times for that squishy regen

  10. I'd say it's worth taking. PvE wise it's always good to use incase you see a team member in trouble. You notice there stunned or held.. chuck and ID on them.

    the duration is very short and can be a pain to keep perma on larger teams..

    Then PvP.. Well ID vs Repel need i say anymore

  12. WEll for primary I'd look at three things for PvP - Mercs & Ninja's spam good caltrops or web nades to keep opponenets ncie and slowed while thugs dish out good damage with alot of toys on the bruiser and i believe the best dam.

    For secondries posiens have some great ST debuffs to hack down your target.. Dark's AoE heal can make you and your minions a hell of alot tougher (Better with ranged set of pets imo) and tar patch can trap your opponenets. But if you want a fortified MM i'd say the tp gank to traps is a very powerful set.. but then you will be the target for all tp foe/wormhole and people may simply kite you forever...

    but hey this is just my view..

    I think this sums it up, however having said that I've seen a wee bit mroe PvP recently there and hopefully as more IO sets are placed into lvl 50's mroe people will coem to the zone and have a nice little fight.

    I think the full theme & layout of the zone would be great.... if more people were actively pvping there on a regualr basis!

  18. Yep, I've seen both and as above both ahve pro's on there. I would go by what you feel best playing.

    Energy's Knock Back will go well with storm and good damage output from it too.

    Elec has good dam as well, no KB but -end to opponenets. Although simply using that won't make a massive dent to your enemies. Elec does ahve a hold which would stack well with thunderclap in PvE and for isolating bosses.

  19. I would say that kinetics is a great fun set to play, but as stated empath is a fun set too.

    What I would say is what exactly did you want the toon for, kinetics would help soloing alot with the +recharge and PA but then empath is a very useful team support and coupled with SI it can help you be a pvp empath with some nice tricks

  21. yep, for zones controllers need good teams (well in the lower zones) but i will say they can be great fun.

    I use an Ice/Storm & a Grav/FF in Sirens, warburg & RV and all of them get along ok when i find a few extra hero's to pair with.

    I'd say storm is a good 2ndry along with TA for some easy going pvp.
  22. So far I can run the toggles for a fair amount of time, but as said if you plan on supporting with damage too your going to feel the pain.

    Dodging stamina in alot of builds is possible it's just tough but the extra variation of powers can help.

  24. there isn't an obvious winner to say, but i find Super Speed and unsuprressed jumping to be very nice for my stalker who has no ranged attacks.

    the movement speeds you cna get and zipping in to mobs to hit the target quick and fast then getting out i find great, coupled with the hasten it's a nice one.

    That being said as mentioned above they all have there bonuses & drawbacks. From SS the obvious lack of verticle means fliers and SJ'ers can be tough to catch if they stay to roof tops or stay very high flying..

    I have a -fly attack for the fliers and tend to hit quick and fast so no need to worry about the jumpers but there are times that it's tough with no vertical jump

    Mayb the thought of Arch would be in there.

    With bubbles requiring little activation time during fights as you will place them prior or after fights then the cone/aoe could be a help. Although it's quiet highly resisted the other appeal Archery had to an FF def imo is that the nuke doesn't run you dry (from memory or am I completely wrong?) so you will continue running your PbAoE bubbles and it also has a very quick recharge.. so if you really want AoE mayb have a play witha builder on that set
