This last time through the seesaw had a single 2 lb weight on one side and no 2 lb weights above, and that's when I noticed the unequal sides. I think they took pity on me. Still only got 122 again.

I have tried numerous times with an overall high score of 122. I regularly fail on the game systems since I never played consol games, but also on the "3 Attempts" which I still don't understand, and the weights on the seesaw, which I likewise don't understand. I have tried balancing the seesaw, tipping it to the opposite side and keeping it where it is, and on none of my five or so attempts at the game have I figured out the goal of that game.

Despite no announcements on the boards, this page confirms NCSoft will be exhibiting at San Diego Comicon next month.

"Well, of course they are, why wouldn't they be?" you may be asking.

That's a legitimate question, but if you take a look at this page, two names that seem to be missing are Atari, and Cryptic, which is just odd, unless they exhibit under some other name and I don't know it.

Any word on when the next thread will be posted asking for the date of the next Double Exp weekend? I want to make sure I don't miss it!

What about this:

1) Increase the maximum number of costume slots per character to 8.

2) Add a mission to unlock costume slot #6 at level 50.

3) Add costume slots to vet rewards like character slots. For example - every year you get 3 new costume slots that you can assign to any characters on your account; or every 9 months you get two; or every 6 months you get one.

A big old map full of identical bosses and no story, with a big old reward at the end vs. a well written arc with no special, player-funded reward at the end. Which do you think...

1) Will get played into the ground?

2) Will fulfill the devs' intent for MA?

Me, First everyone exit mission. Mass exodus ensues.

Me, Now select someone else's mission, then select your mission again.

Three minutes pass by as various members are getting agitated and offering mission selection options that they see. One member even said to pass star already. When that was said, I finally, belatedly, check on leader's badges. A three month vet badge and a large amount of AE badges. I pm to the teammate who called to have star passed (he seemed to have a decent grasp on how to play the 'real' game), She's an MA Baby. As soon as I said that, he quit.

Finally, leader selected a new mission. Then leader says, New mission up, sorry about that, I haven't played in years.

I quit right there and moved on to something else. I have patience, but if you don't have a grasp on such a simple game mechanic, you probably shouldn't be leading any teams. I suspect the leader didn't even know that the 'real' game doesn't auto-sk the players.

Heh, MA really is getting blamed for everything these days isn't it?

1) AE badges are not hard to earn. I have earned dozens of them on a toon while testing my own arcs and only playing actual MA missions 5 or 6 times.

2) Having a level 23 after 3-6 months of playing is not exactly what I'd call power-leveling.

3) I never lead teams in my early days of playing because I was afraid of doing something wrong, so I was probably at least a 6 month vet before I found out that you had to push the "Select Mission" button so the others on the team could see the location.

Sounds like the player you ran into was just genuinely inexperienced at leading teams and didn't know, or forgot, how to reset missions. Sorry to say it, but I think it's possible you were the bad teammate in this circumstance.

This wasn't "ha-ha" funny, but rather "odd" funny, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this...

Last night I was standing outside the Steel Canyon WW with some teammates, one of whom is named "Hand of Kismet." A random NPC walked by and said, "Hand of Kismet? Isn't that the name of a villain?"

Just wondering if that is a normal, random line the NPCs spout, if it was triggered by something special like some of the "Did you hear so-and-so defeated Frostfire?", or if it was recently added in anticipation of Going Rogue?

For anyone else who wasn't able to join us last night, Baron, Kisment and Sam started running missions in Striga. Apparently Stephanie Peebles hates us. Not only did she keep sending us to one giant cargo ship after another, she wouldn't give any of us the same mission!

Anyway, I know Kismet is busy tonight, but I'm up for Wednesday night if everyone else is. Also, hypocratic_oath, if you see me online (@mousedroid) shoot me a tell and I'll invite you into the group.

All three of the Winter's Gift enhancements are considered Uniques and therefore can only be slotted once. So if you slot them in different powers you won't get the set bonuses.

Side question - unless an enhancement's descriptions says that it's unique, you can add it to as many powers as will take it, right? For example, a melee damage proc that provides a chance for extra lethal damage could be sloted into each of your melee powers, right?

IIRC you used to have to spend points to remove the visual effects of your powers in the PnP version of Champions, so yeah, maybe; at least in PvP?

In the event that this goes beyond simple color selection, I would like to change the effect from Scirocco's PPP power on my Mind/Fire dom to look more like a "fire shield" than electric armor.

Agreed. As it is, I have to use a defendable object to do this. Which isn't so bad now, since the enemies don't actually try to destroy the object, but if you ever fix that...

For some reason I always assumed it was A) the sequence in which the badges were added to the game, which doesn't make much sense, or 2) the sequence in which the devs expect players will earn the badges, which makes even less sense.

If you're limited on how many porters you can have, I wouldn't bother with a porter to the RWZ. The base portal in Cap is like 100 yards from the entrance to the Vanguard base; and the BM is even closer if you have a BM teleporter. I can't recall where the Oro portal spits you out in Cap - in the upper city I think - but even that is a short, and safe, trip to the Vanguard base if you're level 35.

Silly, nonsense question, but ever since I started using CoHwiki to explore badges, I've wondered what the "In-Game Sequential List" is supposed to represent.

The two the first leaped to my mid have already been mentioned. "Gem" armors - ruby, sapphire, emerald, amethyst, etc. - from ice armor, and tinting stuff black to suppress its appearance as much as possible.

I'm just looking to do more mundane stuff.

1) Color the effects on all my villainside electicity using characters blue-white or yellow-white instead of red.

2) Color the energy blasts of my Energy/Plant corruptor blue-green so they look more like water blasts.

That's all off the top of my head.

Think again. Comic shops need to make a profit to stay in business, so they won't pay anything close to guide prices for old books. The only way to get close to guide prices for old books is to find a collector who needs what you have for their collection, and as the OP has already noticed, eBay has made it so easy for collectors to find old issues that they need, even they rarely have to shell out "Guide" prices to fill in their collections.

Unless you are talking older (pre-70s) key issues or incredibly rare stuff, or you bought the books for cover price, it is not very easy to make money selling old comics.
