But it's not going to effect my good time in the slightest.

    I'm getting mixed signals here.

I'm of the attitude that if I win a door prize, great; if I don't, well, that's par for the course. And while I'm fine with however the Paragon folks decide to handle it, I wouldn't begrudge anyone winning a prize if they could only stop by for a short while because there was something else going on at the same time and they couldn't be two places at once.
  2. Niviene, you have been far more patient and diplomatic than I ever could have been when dealing with all the easily-angered, overly-entitled dorks like me around here these last couple of years, so thank you for that, and best of luck in all the future holds in store for you!

Glad to see you'll at least still be playing the best MMO in the world.
  3. The way I envision her, her attitude is pretty similar to Pep's. (I think it's Pep who is always hurling insults at the bad guys, right?)
  4. I'm generally OK with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night, so I can be flexible as long as I know which night at the beginning of the week.

That said, if Prem's PPD static team gets rolling one of those nights, or if any of the other members are on teams that meet regularly one of the other nights, the Gold Corp will have to take those schedules into account.
  5. Officer Shannon "Shenaniguns" Callahan is ready to report for duty...

Yes. I had to draft some help in an arc mission in... Sharkhead, I think, a few weeks ago because it required three glowies to be clicked simultaneously.
  7. This was on Virtue where my only "comfortable" villain resides.

Prior to today my only comfortable hero was on Guardian, but the 100-million influence influx will make some of my Virtue heroes a little more comfy.
  8. OK, thanks. Someone asked me to make a 100-million for 100-million trade, and I wanted to make sure I didn't get taken to the cleaners.
  9. Do people usually do these at 1:1 ratio or something else?
  10. Actually, I think if I join this, it will be with DP/Dev blaster named Shenaniguns. She's only level 6 or 7 right now, so rerolling her won't be a big deal.

Also, the more I thought about it, the more I realized I mostly just wanted to find a PPD-themed SG to join with Officer Howard - a group I could play with casually, but not necessarily on a set schedule.

If Prem's idea takes off and grows into a supergroup, I'll gladly add Officer H to help earn prestige. Heck, since he's level 34, I could even start a SG for the team from day one if you want.
  11. That was amazingly fun. I can't believe my Squishy McAggromagnet dominator made it through without a single death. This was my first Hami Raid and I have to think they don't always go so smoothly?

Yeah, me too. Thing is, Officer Howard is level 34 and as my highest level hero on Virtue, I don't want to start him over. So, if a level 34 PPD lycanthrope would go against the static team concept, it's cool. Lemme know.

  13. OK, I'll still try to make it since I've never done one of these in my 26+ months in CoX.
  14. I think I should have bounced around on more characters this 2xXP weekend because I found myself spending way too much time at WW and Paragon U. buying, selling, and crafting so as to keep my inventory open on the Scrapper I was trying to level on Virtue.

Still, I think I leveled him from 26 to 34 mainly by playing solo and by joining the Cape Radio folks on a Katie TF and a Ernesto Hess TF, the first of either I've ever run. Also ran a fun, but ultimately futile ITF with them on Friday night, the highlight of which, for me, was my dom sniping the Phalanx computer to death by herself after the team wiped no less than six times by trying to bum-rush it. Didn't get any merits, but got lots of Infamy and several rare salvage drops, so it was still worth it.

Unfortunately, I picked a lousy weekend to get sick since it's the first 2xXP weekend since January of '08 that I haven't had plans. I spent more time sleeping on Sunday than I did playing, which was disappointing because it meant that I never got around to playing any of my villains on Guardian.
  15. No idea. I think I only used 4 tokens in the entire time the program was offered. Not to say I wouldn't applaud Paragon Studios if they decided to make transfers free forever.

I didn't try to transfer any toons this weekend, but just wondering if maybe you had used up your week's worth of tokens prior to the weekend and that's why you couldn't make any free transfers?

they aren't showing up for me either, but you can see them in the 2009 Hero Con Wentworths thread:

  18. I'll be there Tuesday. I need to get back to work on my badges for the bombs and Ukon Grai. I assume this is about Mothership raids.
  19. Just rolled up a DP/Devices blaster on Virtue named Shenaniguns.
  20. Awesome news about the costume codes and the HeroCon T-shirts. Thanks, Niv and Paragon Studios!
  21. Question: By Saturday @ 12 am est, do you mean at the very start of Saturday, or the very start of Sunday?

To me 12 AM Saturday is at the very beginning of Saturday morning/end of Friday night, but many people consider it to be at the very beginning of Sunday morning/end of Saturday night.
  22. In my experience it has been immediate. I have 2 accounts now, so I save names on my less used (and therefore less crowded) account and then roll up a toon on my main account when I'm ready.

I keep two windows open and on the main account I go so far as to type the name and bio on the ID card and I also get the character ready for deletion on the secondary account. Within 1-2 seconds of clicking "Confirm" on the character deletion, I click "Enter Paragon City" on the new toon. So far it has gone through perfectly every time.

    Unless you're a villain.

But villain or hero, if you bought the Good Vs. Evil pack and have the Pocket D VIP Teleporter, the easiest tailor to get to at level 3 or higher is Trina up on the loft in the Tiki Lounge.
  24. OK, thanks everyone. I do play solo quite a bit, so it looks like the cooruptor might be the way to go.
