And here I thought I was the only one for whom the cake didn't appear.

I'm kinda hoping, purely for my own selfish reasons, that Praetorian War Witch was killed, maybe by Belladona Veltrano, and it stuck this time.
-
I would like to mention something about the Praetorian version of War Witch in the bio for a Going Rogue character, but I don't know if anything has been revealed about her. Anyone know?
-
Too bad they couldn't hold the Kinetic Melee and Electricity Control powersets announcment for today. That would have driven people nuts.
-
I'd be up for trying my first LGTF with my BS/WP scrapper Erin Brand this Friday.
-
If I'm able to take my Sidekick into Praetoria and use the alternate leveling paths to eventually turn him/her into a hero, ala Wally West; or a villain, ala Jason Todd, then count me in!

Make sure you not accidentally logging into the Pyrrhic Victory server. Those always seem empty.

I was playing on a static team last night and we were running radios in KR. The leader mentioned that he had picked up a radio mission involving Outcasts, he set the mish and we took off for the door. I was lagging behind a bit and when I turned the corner, I was face to face with about a dozen Outcasts headed straight for me.
I don't know if that was a really weird coincidence or what. I don't think I've ever seen a radio mission spawn an ambush, and as far as I know, Outcasts don't typically hang out in Kings Row. But these were white-conning Outcasts and I think we were lvl 8 at the time, so it sure seems like they were after us.
Have I just missed the fact that a low level radio mission can spawn an ambush all these years? -
Not holding out hope for this, but I would love an extension of the slider below the 4-foot(?) level. Right now I use a combination of minimum size costume and stealth to "simulate" shrinking to insect size on my bee-themed character. Still, shrinking from 5'6" to 4' tall doesn't really give me that "I'm an insect!" vibe.

Looks like someone got their Fabricator badge.
Gratz! -
See you all tonight at the Kings Row police station.

First thought: Kinetic Melee? Cool!
Second thought (after watching the video they showed at PAXEast): Get ready for the return of the Jedi.
Third thought: I'll bet all the "good" kinetics related names are already gone. -
Quote:First thing I thought of when I saw that video was, "Oh boy, here come the jedi."Kinetic Melee looked interesting but if people complain about the powers with long attack animations or the DBZ character invasion during the early years, you aren't going to be a happy camper. If the Level 9 power sounds like a Spirit Bomb I will be disappointed. Ryo Street Fighter attacks also apply.
As for Incarnate levels, was any mention made as to whether they would only be achievable by characters who never switched sides? I think it was mentioned a while back that there might be special rewards for characters who never side-switched, but things change over time. -
Quote:Before you leave to strike out on your own, consider one thing you might not be aware of - if you're the only active member of a supergroup for a long enough period of time, the game will automatically put you in charge of that supergroup.ISecondly I have not seen any other members of the Super Group i joined. They have been offline for many days and although the Prestice I am earning alone is not the issue, but being the only one 'working' is tiring. I am thinking of leaving the group and after establishing a strong Nest Egg, strike out on my own and start Up my own ASAP>

So rather than throw away everything that others have built up and put into that SG, to start a new one from scratch, why not just keep playing and see if you "inherit" the SG? I have inherited at least three SGs/bases this way. I didn't kick anyone else out of the group, but it's nice to have large fully functional bases that I don't have to do anything to except pay the rent.
Although I would change the names in a heartbeat if we ever got that option. -
Took me an hour to fly from Baltimore to Boston Saturday afternoon. Took me close to 2 hours to get from my hotel to Jillians, most of which was my fault.
The gal at the desk at my hotel said a cab would cost about $40, and that the train station was only a couple blocks away, so I decided to just do that. A combination of poor direction, misunderstandings, and not paying attention to the subway stops resulted in it taking roughly 90 minutes to get from the hotel to the point where I had to switch trains. It was already 8 o'clock so I decided to just take a cab from the Park St, station and I got to Jillians around 8:15 or 8:20.
Understandably, the food was pretty much gone by then, and the bartender said I had to go out front to order. I decided to just eat out there and by the time I was finished, the raffle drawing had started. After the raffle we were told they were kicking us out shortly so the general public could use the room, so I picked up the stuff I wanted to buy and just headed back to the hotel. The cab ride back cost $20, including a generous tip.
I didn't really talk to anyone at the meet n' greet, other than Mod 8 at the door when I first got there, but I'm generally an introvert, and since I didn't really know anyone to begin with, that wasn't surprising. All in all, I was really surprised by the turnout and I'm hopeful that the Paragon Studios folks were happy with it and will mke a return trip next year, for which I will plan better. -
Based on my personal experience I would call the forgotten zones:
Eden, Crey's Folly, and Boomtown in that order.
The reason is, other than badge hunting I don't think I've gone into the first two zones since I started playing 27 months ago. I have gone in to Boomtown a few times, but very few.
I take a lot of my toons into PP, Brickstown, Terra Volta, and a couple of the others mentioned, but obviously not as often as the main city zones. -
If anything ever deserved a "Gratz!" it's this. So, gratz, and way to go!

When Dorothy's house crushes the wicked white supremicist of the west cellblock she realizes she's no longer in Kansas; and she doesn't mind at all. -
Thanks for the forecast, Deacon. It's to be in the high 50s and sunny here tomorrow, so I would have definitely been underdressed for snow.
Other than a valid ID showing we are 21+, we don't need anything to get in to the meet and greet, right? -
Married with Children of the Corn.
Se7en Brides for Seven Brothers.

Quote:The "Spring Fling" takes place around Valentines Day and ends at least 2-3 weeks before spring begins in the northern hemisphere. You can take on a mission from Eros, the god of love, and you can unlock a "Hearts" costume pattern. So I would say there is a lot more to tie this event to Valentines Day than there is to the season of spring.1) The Spring Fling only really had a Valentines theme when it included Manticore & Sister Psyche's wedding (which was a live event added to match the wedding of Sean Michael Fish, the developer who has taken the 'Manticore' name). You can argue otherwise, but aside from the "Heroes and Villains working together", there's not much to say "Love is in the air!"

I didn't realize until recently that Talos rhymes more closely with "Pecos" than "shallows".
