I didn't look for any other threads because this was the closest one to the top of the Suggestions forum. I'd like to see an "Accessories" Pack consisting of

Backpacks
Quivers
Holsters (hip and possibly thigh)
Scabbards
Jetpacks (that animate like Rocket Boots)
1950s-style "fishbowl" space helmets

I wouldn't really care what power or emotes were included if we could get the majority of what I listed above.

Let's say I'm a lvl 50 Dominator and I switch sides to become a hero. I respect and now can no longer choose from PPP, but have to chose from APP powers. Will new APP power lists be generated for Dominators, Masterminds, Stalkers, etc., or will they be shoehorned into one of the heroic ATs' lists, and if so, which ones? Will my Dominator choose from the Blaster lists or the Controller lists?

Also, why is it Cole Memorial Hospital if he isn't dead?


Lastly, I wish someone had asked whether the Incarnate system will be open to side-switched characters, and if so whether there will be any benefits for never switching sides.

So for those who participated last year - it was pretty much the same event? No new badges, right?

I went on vacation on the 21st and got home last night, so I completely missed the announcement and the event on Virtue, but if it was the same as last year with no new badges, I don't mind.

It does sound like the way this was run this year was worse than the way it was run last year. IIRC, last year it ran from like noon to 10 PM ET on ALL servers simultaneously. That probably spread people out more than the way it was run this year leading to all the lag folks are complaining about.

Last year I played on Virtue during the somewhat less crowded afternoon hours and Guardian in the evening, and I didn't experience any rage-inducing lag on either server.

Shannon either just hit 15 last night or is like a bubble shy of 15.

I thought Carmichael did a good job last night, as did everyone else. The size and proximity of the spawns in that mission were our undoing. Or rather our initial attempt to treat them like the spawns in a normal mission was our undoing. Otherwise I think the team gels well.

Not a problem for me. See you all at 6:30.

OK, so Mutant Dream is temporarily out of commission, Starflier can't start until next week and Prem will be running late, so...

1) Are Midnight, Philly and I (and anyone else who wants to join us with a PPD toon) going to meet at 6:30 ET in KR and do some stuff until Prem can join us?

or,

2) Are we going to push back our start time half an hour or so? Prem, do you know how much later than 6:30 you're likely to be?

We could run some AE arcs or something while we're waiting. We could RP them as PPD Danger Room training missions or something.

I'm a member of the staff of the Pittsburgh Comicon. Every year at the convention we have a freebie table at each entrance to the show, and it is loaded with everything from local comics store's flyers, to promo pins and keychains, to one-sheet posters for upcoming Hollywood blockbusters.

the show runs next Friday Saturday and Sunday, and while it's no where near as large as San Diego, it still sees an annual attendance of 5,000-8,000 comics and sci-fi fans. I would love to see some advertising for City of Heroes and/or Going Rogue on the freebie tables, even if it was just flyer of some sort. If there's any way you can get something in my hands by Wednesday the 21st, I will be very happy to put it out on the table for you. And all it would cost you is the price of printing and shipping.

You know what I think would have been a kick-*** promo item? A short Going Rogue comic for Free Comic Book day, which is two weeks from now.

Obviously it's too late for that, and I have no idea if that fits into your marketing budget, but you'd get advertising material into the hands of thousands of comics fans and kids all across the country. Maybe think about it for next year.

In the meantime, I would suggest a small, maybe 17" x 22", glossy fold-out poster of Desdemona that comics stores could put up in their windows.

I use a basic Logitec cordless keyboard to play CoX on my laptop, and the only time I have problems is when the batteries are running down. If I press a button and nothing happens, I know it's time to change the batteries. That said, I don't create hotkeys or do any other kind of "fancy stuff" that is keyoard related. I mainly use it to mash the Q-W-E, Tab, and Space Bar, and to chat.

Taking alpha strikes just motivates Shannon to do more damage. They are like pain-flavored donuts.

I have one regen scrapper - Officer Howard, in fact - and while I don't dislike the set, I still think Willpower is far-and-away the best Scrapper secondary.

I think an S&M comparison would've been safer and more humorous.

Same goes for you, Ph_G, if you're not having fun with Sam, I'd rather you switch to something you like better than quit. Frankly, I am enjoying the heck out of Shenaniguns, and I don't want to see this group fade away.

I'm fine with Dread the way she is now if you're enjoying her. If you're not enjoying her, or you just want to switch her to other powersets, I would vote for anything that helps keep Shannon's rush-in-guns-ablazing fighting style from getting her (Shannon) killed.

I could do tonight but I'll definitely need to split by a little before nine at the earliest so I can get over to the Guardian blueside Hami raid. I may also be running late since I hadn't planned on leaving work right at 5 tonight, and I need to stop at the grocery store on the way home.

I never expected they'd do anything for the 6th anniversary. The 5th I could see, which is why I was/am hoping we'll at least get something amazing for CoV's 5th anniversary later this year. Although, since it's "all one game" now, I guess it make sense only to celebrate based on the original release date.
