  1. I'm going, but I don't know if I know you.

To be fair, Lucas said he would never release the original theatrical versions on DVD because they weren't the movies he wanted to make. There was severe fan-backlash, like there is just about every time George announces something, but this time he seemed to take the fans' pleas into consideration.
  3. I'll join this with my BS/WP scrapper, the Erin Brand, as long as you're not doing a Master Run. I've never done a STF before and don't want to accidentally screw up a MoSTF my first time out.
  4. I'm kind of hoping to get mine before this Thursday. I have a character who could really use one of them for RP purposes.

Indeed. In fact, the York, PA and Lancaster, PA minor league baseball teams have a friendly rivalry called The War of the Roses, so named because the orginal conflict of that name was fought by supporters of the House of York (the White Rose) and the House of Lancaster (the Red Rose).

Another little known fact - York, PA is the self proclaimed "First Capital" of the U.S. due to the fact that the Articles of Confederation, which first formally established the U.S. as a country, were ratified here after the Continental Congress fled Philadelphia to avoid capture by the British.
  6. I'm in York, but I'm a transplant from western PA.
  7. If I recall correctly, price at the M&G in San Diego, which was at the Hard Rock Hotel were as follows:

    Domestic beer (bottle) $10
    Imported beer (bottle) $12
    Mixed drink or wine $15

Bottled water and soda was free I believe. They also had several rounds of appetizers, which were free as well.
  8. Well, now we're even with respect to reading comprehension because I read the following post from Avatea as saying, "Since it isn't an NCsoft M&G..."

    Oops.

And no, you don't need a Comic-Con pass to attend the Meet & Greet. You do need one for the panel though
  9. When is the Coming Storm?

    SOONER THAN YOU THINK...!

You never know since this isn't an NCSoft-sponsered event.
  11. I'll admit I'm kind of curious why this is taking so long. All they would conceivably have to do is e-mail the codes to the address on file for each of the winners. Am I missing something?
  12. I wonder if the Hallowe'eny fun will percolate through the dimensional barriers to Praetorian Earth.

You didn't specify whose Thanksgiving Day, and since Canada's is in October, you've given them a window of approximately 11 months.
  13. Fuzzitron, I've never participated in speed dating, but I think the way it works is:

    1) They seat all the women at numbered tables.
    2) All the guys get a number as well as list of table numbers.
    3) The guys start out at the first table on their list, and talk to that woman for three minutes.
    4) A bell rings and the guys all move to their second table and so on every 3 minutes or whatever the time interval is.
  14. Reed Expos did the Speed Dating thing at the Star Wars Celebration convention last month. I was morbidly curious about it as well, but skipped the convention that day to hang out with family instead.

If the RSVP requires a Facebook account, I might not be able to attend because I refuse to reopen an account with that site. Hate Facebook.

I'm assuming "Good Units" is a bar/club and that is where the 21 and over assumptions are coming from.

It is my understanding that they are sending letters to the company protesting these Adult Only M&G's as well.

It's their way of saying, "If your alcohol is so important for you that you are willing to ignore a large portion of your player base, then I have no need to meet you."
GMan, just out of curiousity, where would your friends suggest they hold the M&G? I'm not on one side or the other here, but short of renting a ballroom at a hotel, I'm not sure where else you could hold one of these.

I would have to think that even if there were "All Ages," the majority of attendees would be adults, and regardless of anyone's views on it, many adults like to drink alcohol when they socialize. So I think it's wrong to portray the Over 21 aspect of the M&Gs as Paragon Studios putting alcohol ahead of kids, rather I think they are catering to the larger portion of their player base.
  18. If I slot this proc in Tactics, does the Build-Up affect everyone, just me, or no one at all?
  19. So you're saying this won't be a Slax-optional party?
  20. Avatea, do we need to RSVP for the Meet 'n Greet or anything?
