  1. Meh, I spend enough time getting badges for accolades for my PvP characters, I don't want to go out of the way to get gladiator badges too.
  2. Hot Feet is fine with maybe the default slot for endurance reduction, perhaps an additional slot for accuracy (damage slotting is a waste since you'll be at the damage cap all the time anyways). I have my Imps slotted with 3 Nucleolus Exposures.
  3. If you know the creator of the arc you can use that as your search terms, which will let you find a story no matter what changes are made to it.
  4. Try what you like. After 3-4 years you'll find that things just don't play the same way as they did then (there've been lots of changes, both major and minor, since that time).

Hey mac, is there any way I could talk builds with you in-game? On a vent server even?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Keeping builds on the public forum is probably the best bet because you'll get a variety of opinions. I might know the numbers behind a lot of sets and powers but it's an entirely different thing to have actually played those combinations. The boards as a whole will offer more experience and advice than one person.
  6. If you queue up Phase while in Hibernate, as long as you haven't passed that 30 second phase timer, when you exit Hibernate, Phase will turn on (but will shut off once that 30 seconds is up). It's nice to get out of the huddle of people that'll show up once they see you're in Hibernate.
  7. Acro's more useful for the hold resistance than the KB protection.

Mac what're you meaning there? lol. I'm a bit lost on that one.

    You said this:

I've pretty much layed the smack down on everyone in RV but after the tk *fix* and the other recipes coming out, I feel as if I am need of an update. AKA: I'm starting to lose every now and then and I don't too much like it.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I'm not sure about you but I read that as "I'm starting to lose now because they fixed a broken power I was relying on to do well with."
  9. It's true, the rest of us moved to Freedom
  10. Yeah, PB is kinda a waste on a non-control AT (as a Sonic/EM the only thing it'll really help is the stun duration in Total Focus and Screech). Give it to a Controller or Dominator, though, and you're looking at 10-12 second holds.
  11. Elec is probably the worst Stalker secondary for both PvE and PvP (it's also probably one of the worst Brute secondaries). The Brute version is at least somewhat workable because of Brutes' higher base HP and 90% resistance cap, but Stalkers don't have nearly as much HP and only a 75% resist cap. You're better looking elsewhere.

    /Thorns for PvP?

Thorny Assault looks great on paper due to its PvP damage, but the problem with that is the damage comes at the price of huge animation times, which can get you killed.

In short, Thorny Assault is good in theory but not in practice.
  13. You will want a lot more than 20 points of KB protection in I15. Energy Doms are gonna become very popular and I have a feeling you'll be seeing a lot more Power Push + AS spikes.
  14. Wait, so your success is banking on a broken power and always having the highest-end stuff, and now you don't have that and aren't winning all the time? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
  15. I think sometime around I12 it was said that they were going to attempt to alternate new IO sets and powerset proliferation between issues (I11 and I13 had new sets, I12 had the proliferation). I suppose I can't blame them for not sticking to that - plans change and that's understandable. I guess I'd just like to see another round of proliferation before Going Rogue comes out (if it's after Going Rogue, we might be looking at I17, which would mean it'd be nearly two years since the last round of proliferation).

I suspect that nothing we see on the test server can be taken as a statement one way or the other as to how the changes will affect dom popularity once they go live. To few people read these boards and/or play on the test server to get a good sample population.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Many people don't even read patch notes - they won't know anything's changed at all, except they might notice they do a bit more damage or a power recharges more slowly than it does now. Most people, if they find out at all, will find out by word of mouth.
  17. I guess his box really must be hidden at the office if it took BABs 3 weeks to realize he wasn't there.
  18. Assuming you have 100 targets packed into a tiny area, of course. Given the aggro cap and target cap, that's not really something that can happen anymore.

Ironically it is an easy game that so many folks are bad at.

    Pretty much this.

  21. 30-40 has been fine in my experience.
  22. Devastations I'd say. Solid +HP and +dam bonuses for slotting 4 of them. You don't need to build in a lot of recharge really, because the only long-recharge power you need to be worried about is Hibernate (and BU and Aim, I suppose, but lots and lots of +rech will get hit very heavily by DR).
  23. PvP set bonuses work when you go into a PvP zone or the arena, regardless of what you're attacking.
