Yes, giving an escape/reset power such as Hibernate to every AT that it makes sense to give it to (except Defenders, yet) is balanced. Deal with it.
-
Not changing colors on anything. If it's more than a powerset-wide palette shift, I might consider it, but I've got alts to level and IO and it doesn't matter what color the stuff I'm flinging at the bad guys is as long as they die.

I might be the last person to notice that sign in the AE building. I was stunned to find that there is a separate AE area with power suppression. Very cool. Can we get one for the markets?
[/ QUOTE ]
I wish.
I think that power suppression in the markets have been suggested quite a while.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm pretty sure someone would find a way to exploit it, so it's a no-go. -

Farming was never something the devs meant to happen.
[/ QUOTE ]
This may be true, but the very systems they put in place encourage it, even moreso now that there's "loot" in the game. People will take the fastest path to a reward. If they didn't want people to farm, they'd never have put in badges with absurdly high requirements (yeah, try getting the Empath badge in a reasonable amount of time without farming). -

I think you dodged the sarcasm
[/ QUOTE ]
Altoholic is not sarcastic. He (although sometimes I wonder about that) is really and truly convinced that doing anything outside of how it's "suppsoed" to be done is an exploit. It's quite laughable and really pathetic. -

Deeply confused doesn't do it justice.

Geas is easy enough because you can finish it all up in one zone in a few hours. FoN looks easy on the surface but you need to reset mayhem missions over, and over, and over. I somewhat agree about TFC/Invader but Invader can be a pain unless you have characters parked at different level ranges specifically for the mayhem missions.

Fire/Kin/Fire controller
[/ QUOTE ] I prefer /stone mastery.
[/ QUOTE ]
^^ This. Only reason to go Fire mastery on a farming Fire/Kin is if you're doing demons and I don't know anyone who does that anymore. -
AR/Pain = redraw lulz. For extra oomph go Mace Mastery so you have a second weapon to draw.
-
Depends on how easy side switching is, I think... I'd transfer my villains over to heroside just to accolade them because just about every heroside accolade is easier to earn than its villain counterpart (except maybe Demonic/Magus).

In regards to lottery tickets, the thought process could be something like this: "I know I've got less of a chance of winning the lottery than I do of being struck by lightning - but hey, someone's gotta win it, right?"

Dont base camp, you wont get droned.
[/ QUOTE ]That's BS because the weak [censored] heroes that do it for a living most use boost range and will tp you from the hill even. It's not a point of base camping it's with any war when you start losting your forced backward to your allies.
What needs to be done is add a -range component with in 75 feet of the drones or better yet add a no tp zone component ala pocket D with in a reasonable range of the drones.
[/ QUOTE ]
If you are within TP foe range of the base, no matter how far that may be, you are "too close." -
I can't find the quote anymore, it may have been posted in an I13 beta thread, all of which have long since disappeared.

Yeah... don't get me wrong, I love the idea of power customization (depending on how it's implemented anyways). However, it'd be nice to be able to try new, interesting things instead of doing the same stuff just with different colors. Who knows? Maybe we'll get both.
[/ QUOTE ]
I doubt the entire issue will just be that. I'd frankly be amazed if the issue didn't at least have some new story arcs or a new TF or something.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's been my experience that the more recent issues had a "look at some of what we're doing in the next issue!" announcement and more was revealed as time went on. However, that isn't really the case for I15 - other than some minor QoL tweaks, we're getting a buggy and poorly-written TF and SF (at least the SF was when I tried it, I haven't done the TF), some costume stuff (woo), and that's about it.
I have a feeling that with such a "huge" feature as power customization (I say that because I know how much time it likely took to get working, and because a lot of people have been asking for it), there won't be a lot more in I16 worth going on about, which just makes it a glorified lightshow. I am not going to rule out any later-revealed features (I13 and I14 were certainly full of those, no matter how bad some were) but I guess I wouldn't be surprised if power customization was the "big thing" in I16. -
The Nictus are immune to any kind of debuff and control I think (other than sleeps). The towers on the last mission of the STF, on the other hand, are a different story. You can safely cage one of those to eliminate some of the strain on the aggro-holder.

I think it was like 10-15% across the board.

Another reason the higher-level version is expensive is because (mostly thanks to the way merit and ticket random rolls work) there's a steady supply of certain recipes at max level, whereas that supply may be much less or nonexistent at lower levels. Instead of placing a lower bid and waiting a few weeks (in my case I've waited out lowball bids as long as 4 months), they'd rather pony up a lot more cash for something they know they can get immediately or within a day or two.
-
Yeah, pretty much that. I've had way more fun in the KB's I've done with those settings on test than I had doing DR-off team matches on live or test.

If I can't customize the colors of my Rad Blasters or Cold Dom MM's, it really means nothing to me.

very interesting...
You sound like you have some reason to suggest that this color customization will NOT be on many or most Powersets.

What evidence do you have that tjis would be true?
Any evidence at all?

Oh yes, I see now.
And it is actually worse.
You are complaining at a birthday party that you didn't get Christmas presents.
Oh, Then I don't like this because it doesn't have Pirate MMs!
and I'll whine about Pie, because it isn't cake.

Someone else can complain because they wanted Carnies)

k, cool story bro -
Well, it changed from being unhittable to being able to be hit too easily. They fixed it one way and broke it in another.

There's really no such thing as AT damage modifiers in PvP anymore.

Nope, I'm just saying that I'd like that next round of powerset proliferation sometime soon. If it doesn't happen in I16 or Going Rogue, it'll be going on two years since the last round and that's an awful long time to wait for a feature that was originally planned to happen every other issue.
As TJ pointed out (somewhat sarcastically) in another thread, if power customization works out anything like powerset proliferation, it'll mean we get a few sets made customizable at first, and then a few more added every so often. I'd like to think that wouldn't be the case, but just the same - I don't care what my powers look like so much as what they do. Sure, I can color my Fire Blaster's attacks green and pretend it's a Rad Blaster, but it's not really the same thing, is it? -
