  1. I use a CoT Guide (let them close to melee, then rest, you'll regen enough between attacks). The level of the Guide depends on my AT - my MM could only handle a level 50, but my Brute and Corruptor (with Warmth on auto) could handle 52's.

    Yeah, you can stack a lot of -res really quickly with a Rad/Son. Back in the day you could get Total Focus to hit for upwards of 1000 points of damage if you did things right, but thanks to global resists and the removal of unresistible debuffs, that doesn't happen anymore.

Ok, after a bit of testing, I think I finally figured out a reliable way (other than "put Fire Imps by them, they'll damage the player eventually") to reproduce the bug that allows you to attack an enemy player during the "phased" period that happens immediately after respawning in an arena match.

    1. Put an attack on auto (in my case, Char).
    2. Kill the opposing player, but do not un-target them after they've died.
    3. When the opposing player respawns, the attack on auto will execute and the attack will hit them before the "phase" period kicks in.

    It seems as though there's a very short delay between respawn and the point at which the "phase" period begins - it might even be only one server cycle, but that's enough for an auto-executing power to decide "okay, they respawned, time to activate." I'm going to test this out on the test server and see if I can reproduce it there as well.

    "/screenshotui 1" to toggle on the UI
    then "/screenshot" to take the screenshot (alternately you can bind "screenshotui 1$$screenshot" to a key, which will turn on the UI and then immediately take a screenshot. To turn off the ui just type "/screenshotui 0"

    This pretty much sums up all the I13 changes. Roll something that does lots and lots of damage, and you'll win.

  14. Yeah, but if you're coming back for the first time since I13, PvP can be summed up in three words: "[censored] got nerfed."
  15. You can only enhance Acro for two extra points - so you go from 9 to 11. Not really worth the extra slotting.

    Elusivity is to accuracy as tohit is to defense. That's really the best answer anyone (except maybe Arcanaville) can give.
  17. Pohsyb was asked during closed beta (or was it open beta, I don't recall) if he could make MA missions exempt from Kheldian-spawned enemies, and he agreed. That's why you don't see Quants/Voids/Cysts in MA missions.
  18. I've probably caused a Cyst Crystal to spawn in an open zone (though I usually stay in one part of the zone so I'd never know). I always hated spawning them on the KHTF, though - they would always spawn in the second mission, and of course they can see through stealth, so it made ghosting that mission a bit more challenging. My biggest "oh [censored]!" moment was when we were running a KHTF on Invincible and a Cyst Crystal spawned with the last wave of Cabal. So we were dealing with a +5 AV and her spawn, and a large purple cloud of death.

    I built my Sonic/Sonic for +HP, +damage, and +recovery (leadership toggles + sonic bubble + patron shield + disruption field + super speed = no end).
  20. Outside of the Faultline AE building, there were two PPD just standing around, and one said to the other "Does anyone else think it's weird that they put up this monstrous building and the rest of Faultline still isn't done?"
