If it weren't already 50 I'd probably do the same, I'll just have to remember to use Fossilize as part of my attack chain after Power Push and Stalagmites.

As far as I17 goes, we've been told that Going Rogue is going to either launch alongside I17, or GR will launch alongside I18 and I17 will be a very small update (think I15).

You need to establish team leaders and targeters before the raid even begins if you want people to listen, because once you hit the goo there's a much greater chance things will fall apart and people will be too busy concentrating on clicking buttons instead of reading. Second wave was a bit slow, I thought, but the others went very smoothly all things considered. The Hami taunt Tanker might not need so many EoEs if you keep three or so Emps on him (Regen Aura, Adrenalin Boost, CM, heals) at all times.

I'm holding out for an Ice Mastery pool for Defenders, but it took a hella long time to get even one pool added (I remember Blasters had a pool added like an issue after the pools first came out, but nothing since then).

The powergamer in me says 8 merits and 20 canes still isn't enough for an event that requires such coordination and population - I'm afraid it'll turn into something like the Deadly Apocalypse event where people will only run it for badges for the first week or so of the event and then it'll be damn near impossible to find a team for.

Not much they can do for Defenders short of making their debuffs unresisted again, and I'm 90% certain that won't fly. Of course I'm of the opinion that Defenders needs some help in PvE as well, but that's another story.

Funny part is, of all the toons he could've picked to duel me with he was going to use his Stalker, which would've been the easiest one to at least tie with. Unfortunately the duel never happened - I was just finishing up an STF on Freedom, told him I'd be about 5 minutes, and he logged as I was switching. I really do need to post that link for him next time I see him on, I'm sure he'd love it.

Here, rip this build apart. I have the PvP IO set in Power Burst because I needed some way to get up to 41+ points of KB protection - if someone can rework the build so I don't need to do that, that'd be great, since I'm a cheap son of a *****. Any glaring issues I'm not noticing?

You should be able to build a /Fire Brute to about 2200-2400 HP between IOs and accolades so the max HP buff from Dull Pain isn't as important, not to mention you can't keep it perma with DR unless you have a lot of (wasted) recharge. Invuln isn't bad, but it works better on a Tanker because of the higher resists and higher base HP. For a Brute, there's really no reason other than the KB hole to not go /Fire - between Healing Flames, Taunt, Phase, and teammates, you should be a very tough target and should rarely die unless you try to solo a full team of heroes.you know this is quite wrong.
With DR one big heal every now and then is much better then moderate heal every few seconds. HD is going to cut that heal down to nothing very fast if hes spamming it. Where one big heal is still DRed but not as often, and inval gives the +HP which makes it so you don't need to spam the heal. Inval>Fire dude if can patch up the Stamina problem with it.

+HP isn't going to help you once every 2 or 2 and a half minutes if you're taking damage constantly. It will help erase one damage spike, and after that you're SoL. -
I'm not terribly familiar with the Brute version of Claws so I can't comment on that, but as far as reliable and farm-friendly AoE all Claws has is Spin (yes, Eviscerate and Shockwave are AoE but Eviscerate is an odd cone and Shockwave causes KB). The reason SS is so good is because it's got a very good single-target chain, Footstomp is probably the best AoE in the game now that PSW has been nerfed, given some global recharge, and Rage is boosting your damage by 80% constantly as opposed to Claws which has to keep Follow Up stacked.

I'd consider myself financially well-off if I had enough inf on hand to complete the IO builds for every one of the characters I'm currently working on. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever have that much inf on me at one time, so I'm working in 4 or 5 billion inf chunks, getting 2-4 builds out of the way and then building back up.

Hell no. I miss the ability to easily clear a lowbie's mission (whether it was for badges or for some other reason) and this would eliminate the last holdovers of that system. -
SS/Fire/Mu, though Elec/Shield/Mu is also decent. Blueside you probably can't beat a Fire/Kin/Stone, though Arch/MM would come close if you built for an insane amount of recharge.

Maybe this is patrol XP playing tricks on you? Don't forget that outside the MA you're getting a bonus to XP but not inf if you have patrol XP.

My guess is they won't let Khelds and VEATs switch sides because of some lame RP restriction (which is, apparently, why they aren't color customizable, and the "dark" theme for <powerset redacted> never made it out of closed beta). However, I could be pleasantly surprised, in which case... I'd leave mine right where they are.

One big heal every few minutes isn't going to be as effective as a big heal every 15-20 seconds. Fire's strengths are Healing Flames and Fiery Embrace. You can make Invuln work but it doesn't have quite the bag of tricks that Fire does.

I wouldn't expect many changes to EA this soon after I13 - after all, it took them three years to determine the set needed a buff in the first place. Of course, if it gets ported over to another AT that might change, but I don't see EA being the next set ported.
