  1. Because if people can't read your posts, they're much less likely to even try to read them in the first place, and even less likely to take you seriously.
  2. Wooooooow someone is raged.

    Also, lol @ getting mad at someone who is smart and brings a counter to your build.

    Apparently he's not coming to the forums.

    I simply told him that attempting to have an intelligent conversation with him was probably my mistake in the first place. Oh wellz.

  4. DPS is exactly what it sounds like - the amount of damage you can output per second. Obviously a higher number is better, but there are some concessions to be made.
  5. To the OP, we need to know what model GeForce you have. To Cosmic: a 9600 should be enough to run GR but it will be lower-end.
  6. I would add Sonic Blast and Rad Blast to the list of good Blaster primaries. Rad's not nearly as good as its Defender/Corruptor cousin because of the different recharge times, but it's still a good set. Archery is actually good as well, though I wouldn't call it top-tier. Mental Manip is a decent Blaster secondary because of Drain Psyche and Scare.
  7. Remember this: while macros are indeed helpful to raid leaders, it's not the macros that determine whether a raid succeeds or fails - it's up to the team leaders to lead effectively, and everyone else to follow orders and know what's going on.

    Oh, I'd've ignored him a long time ago (I did, actually, but took him off a while later), but he was just too much fun. I also told him to come to the forums, I feel he should have the opportunity to defend himself. >.>

    The saga continues: (sidenote, I'm not sure how "choosing not to read something" counts as "spastic," but I'll leave that up to you guys to figure out.)

    [Tell] -->@FixMySink?: Amusing, because I'm usually missing your tells by like 15-20 minutes, it's cool though, I know you don't actually want a duel.
    [Tell] @FixMySink?: im on now lets duel
    [Tell] -->@FixMySink?: with?
    [Tell] @FixMySink?: whatever i want to bring
    [Tell] -->@FixMySink?: and that is?
    [Tell] @FixMySink?: what this toon?
    [Tell] -->@FixMySink?: rad/ice or something like that?
    [Tell] @FixMySink?: this toon is but im not going to use this
    Shortly after this exchange, he logged without ever switching characters.
  10. That, and it actually does more damage in PvP than PvE, which is odd because it's an AoE. Several of the /Fire Blasters I saw before I13 had it in their builds, and it's not a terrible power if you catch someone in melee range and have time to get it and Fire Sword off.
  11. An SR with more than 45% defense outside of Elude is essentially perma-godmode, because at 45% defense there's no need for Elude 99% of the time.

    Given a modest amount of recharge and Hasten, you can also perma Eclipse on a Warshade, meaning you'll have capped damage resistance to everything all the time.

Those numbers are for six-slotted kinetic crash which is likely to be the most common slotting for those powers because of the set bonuses (3 kb prot, 7.5% recharge). DR of course affects this but generally if someone had the mag to beat your protection before DR, they will still beat it after.

    If you are going to spend most of your time in zones, you can probably get by with less than 40. It's just not that common for blasters to bother with power thrust in zones and defenders with power push are rare enough to almost not be worth considering.

    In the arena, people will put you on your back with regularity and it's definitely worth having the extra protection.
    KB protection and KB mag DR at slightly different rates (mag DRs a bit more strongly). 41 points of KB protection with DR on will be enough to stop anything short of Force Bolt and sometimes Gale, even though with DR off powers like Power Push and Power Thrust would still KB you.
  14. Since you're new to the game, you need to be aware that powers do not work quite the same way in PvP as they do in PvE. Check out this page for more information.

    Edit: I thought my lack of sales was due to the death of PVP and many many people making the procs.
    I really doubt the mass exodus of PvPers after I13 had more than a negligible effect on the market. They might've had a disproportionate demand for purples (small segment of the population wants a lot of a particular type of item which is in low supply to begin with) before I13 but that certainly came to a jarring stop, and I'm fairly confident in saying most of the demand for PvP IOs probably comes from PvEers.
  16. First off, /Fire isn't a wonderful PvP powerset, though it can be made to work. Tossed together a build with just the power picks - no slotting here.

  17. That's an archaic error message from way back, it's generally best to just ignore it.
  18. The new Hami raid is better than the old one because it's more streamlined and there's a better rewards structure. However, I'm willing to bet there are several reasons why many servers just don't bother with the new raid:

    * Can't just stand around AFK with an attack on auto anymore, you have to help
    * Requires all (or most, at least) of the people in the zone to know what's going on and do their jobs effectively
    * Little room for screw-ups
    * Strategy is different, which is an immediate turn-off for some people
  19. "You used stealth" doesn't sound like "You hid the entire match" to me. More likely than not, knowing Oz, the other player was getting raged because he had no perception and because Oz, like any intelligent player, was using his enemy's weakness against him.
  20. Saying a set is worse than another in PvP because it's true in PvE isn't a good starting point, especially with the way PvP works now.
  21. LOL @ Epsilon for posting in the Triumph section.

    I just find it amazing that the people that are worst at PvP are also worst at trash talk.
