Dark Melee/Super Reflexes

The start can be a little slower than other combinations, but that doesn't matter because the start is fast anyway. Once this bad boy gets going, it's pretty much just cheat mode. You're almost impossible to hit anyway, and then you have a heal in your attack chain. Not even fair, and at 18 you get a monsterously powerful Endurance Recovery power.

SS/WP as a twink build is for the farmers obsessed with Foot Stomp, and idiots riding the bandwagon. You can't get it wrong, you have quick recovery and a load of aggressively mundane attacks. DM/SR takes a little bit more thought and care in places, but even the slightest bit of brain reveals it to be utterly mental, by filling the real weakness that holds back Super Reflexes and while not having good burst damage (probably one of the things keeping the SS/WP whinge brigade from noticing us), has got awesome DPS made even better when SR provides yet more delicious -Recharge! Forget alpha strikes, you are the grinding machine, the enemy will be mulched one by one.

All I got from that was a desire to find out what the Dr Quarterfield task force was, and after I read it, I was utterly unable to suspend disbelief in any way at how Crey has not been convicted and forcibly shut down by the US Government. Even if they were shielding the various infractions of Crey for their own benefit, attacking UN soldiers in a quarantine zone in order to perform illegal dimensional travel and research is something "oh it was a rogue group" simply won't cover in any way. Crey was amusing in its parody of modern 'legal immunity', now it's just annoying because it doesn't even make sense anymore.

I've got a bit of a way to go to get a Crab, but I'm asking now anyway.

Once you've reached level 24 and gotten your shiny, but rather creepy CrabPack, do the old Soldier powers get fired from the arms, or do you keep on pulling out a rifle? And if you still need the rifle, do the Crab Spider attacks cause redraw?

To be honest, while I am horribly judgemental, I try not to be a **** about it when teaming. So sure, there might be one idiot headless chicken or maybe a whole PUG of people who found their brains in a landfill and take things like "don't scoop up every bad guy in the room" as a bit of light humour, but my thought process tends to be, "How the hell can I get out of this without anyone thinking I'm just trying to get out of this....."

Yeah, and even better that Regen only has one toggle to activate. It can get quite amusing when a regen with Revive and half a tray of Awakens just keeps getting back up like nothing happened. They're like bloody weebles....

Operating under the assumption I could grind the heck out of story arcs in Ouroboros without gaining any levels ( I haven't checked yet if I'll still get merit rewards even if I'm out of the XP range), I went with rolling up in the Taskforce Recipe Pool.

My first ever roll, not just with Merits, but I've never even finished a task or trial in my entire time on CoX....I got Blessing of the Zephyr Knockback Reduction. YES! GET IN! You're getting transferred to a Blaster, Merits ROCK! No wait....a /Fire Scrapper maybe! Hahahaha!

Yeah it's been a load of undercarriage for a couple days for me. I just tried to play and I kept getting Mapserver Disconnects....then it'd change its mind and come back.

I never knew what to do with these merit rewards, my Blasters only need 75 of them to pick up a knockback protection, and then I haven't got any plan at all. You have to grind the knickers out of merits to get anything greater than marginal use out of them, so I'm happy just throwing any I have at some potential moneymakers.

Irrelevant, it is not marketed as a childrens game or community in the sense this law cares about. They are trying to stop dangerous perverts interacting with children in places where children will congregate. A forum for Barney would be more the style.

That people are admitting they are under 16 and GR not banning them immediately is a whole different issue, regarding the seriousness with which a games company will take its PEGI rating and how to enforce it.

Bottom line though, this is not a childrens forum. It never was, and I find it unlikely that the number of sub-16 members is as high as you think anyway.
