It would have been nice if I was online when I dinged too.
I left a bit of xp about 2k so I could ding later. I left a timed mission going though. When I logged in the timed mission had failed and gave me 2,122 xp. So I dinged as I logged on. -

When you use the base to rez you get put at the standard teleport point for that area. It used to drop you at the enterance of the mission. According to a GM I have spoke to this is WAI. Makes an infirmary sort of pointless.

My stone/axe tanker felt rubbish until DO's most of the time I didn't bother turning the armours on. When you hit DO's though you will notice a big jump in survivability. Then when you hit SO's you become a force to be reconned with. As for battleaxe stick with it. I suggest getting swoop, beheader, whirling axe, cleave and pendulum. (got to get the first one) With those powers I kept a +3 boss bouncing on his back and was in no danger at all. The knockdowns are very nice for damage avoidance.
I played on heroic until I got fully SO slotted powers. Now I play on rugged and have no reservations about running into +2/+3 bosses. -

Pretty much sums it up. Would they give you the same courtesy? Would they be worried that they might get you debt? Probably not. I have been tp foed the second the timer ran out when entering. I have been ganked by a stalker and sent to a hospital that was camped by several villains. I have been repeatedly sniped by a hero who was hiding in the villains hospital.
No quarter given, no quarter asked. Kill 'em all, let god sort it out. -
I originally tried to promote the usefulness of the base hospital. The fact that for a reduction in hp and end ment that you didn't have a huge trip ahead of you. Now they are pretty much useless. You res with 25% hp and end and still have a trip to get back to the mission.

You should just tinker mac. Theres nothing that can't be altered back and it doesn't waste pres. Although I must admit it would be nice to have a way of editing the base then hitting a big undo button to change it back when you find that those drapes just don't go with the carpet. -

Somehow that doesn't bother me. They teamed up they are using tactics. I don't mind if it takes a little more thought, and more powers than you get at level 6 to take me out. If you want to draw comparisions between solo stalkers and teamed stalkers, what about the team I was in. 4 blasters, 1 empath. The empath used grant invis on us all then we gang sniped a brute. He hit the floor faster than he could say "wt..". Team tactics aren't the major annoyance. It's when a solo stalker can one shot people from the cover of complete invis.

Well said. There's no other AT that you have to take a special build against or fill your tray with insps for. I am counting controllers in there too as you only need a breakfree if you get held. You need to constantly use insps to spot a stalker.
All the keep moving advice is rubbish. I demonstrated this while in beta. I got someone to superspeed past me. As they passed me my AS started and they got flattened. He certainly wasn't standing still and he got walloped by my AS. It's just a matter of timing. As for poping insperations to spot a stalker thats rubbish advice too. All the advice seems to point to. If you want to see a stalker you either have to take a power pool, team with someone with a power pool or constantly pop insperations. If I follow all the advice I have been given on stopping stalker one shot me I would have very few attacks, an insps box big enough to cover the entire screen and eye strain. -

Thats answered one question. I was wondering if the plasma shield was more use at a higher level. My dark/thermal is only 16 so far and has 3 attacks, 2 heals, rez and 1 shield.
The guy that aggroed everything and then moaned about getting killed made me grin. It reminded me of the stone tanker that only used brimstone armour as the others didn't look very good. I juse laughed as he charged into a load of clockwork. (he had rock, crystal, stone skin and brinstone. No rooted or EE. He kept complaining that the stone armour set didn't have any mez protection) -

My tanker is now boring to solo. The only armour worth taking in the entire set is granite. Which reduces my damage output and removes any threat. It takes ages to get to an enemy and if they run I have to stand there waiting for them to return. Any mission I don't need GA for I don't need any armour for. To my mind it makes most of the stone armour powers pointless after level 32. Before level 32, well good luck and how's the debt going? -
My Necro/Dark build has group fly. It is useful for the odd moments that your pets won't use stairs or you have several floors to go up and can't be bothered finding the stairs. However something I didn't realise until it was pointed out to me. It still has a -ACC. So you maybe able to chase the fliers. You just can't hit them. I will be dropping it in a respec. Much more usefull powers to be had.

I was being sarcastic about the post saying that everything in the base editor was unfinished. Hard to do sarcasm in type though.
You can't place anything at all in doorways. However if you place a choke point security room then raise the door way at either end then lower the floor in the chokepoint you can string the bridges between them. Of course it would be better if you could put just one down the middle instead of 1 to either side of the middle but thats life. If you put a flamethrower down in the pit you have created it looks very cool when someone raids the base and runs over it.
