Ah another example of the law not grasping the bloody obvious. Almost all of the stories I have read about people grooming minors, have had the words instant message and chat room in them. To me forums are not the problem. Yes you can message people but that stays in the system. Instant messaging software and the online chatrooms that get cited as being used are the things that need moderating not forums.

It is also another example of a law that there is little to no chance of anyone actually being able to police. It takes very little effort to set up a forum and become the moderator of it. There are also so many forums out there that the sheer number makes it impossible to police.

To me it would make more sense to say that people with convictions for interfering with things that should not be touched, should be to have all internet access removed. Although this doesn't stop the oddballs that haven't been caught yet.

I think the security point is that if someone has hacked in, then once they get to the login screen, they won't know the username/password so logging in and deleting treasured characters isn't possible, unless of course they DO know, which is incredibly stupid, why give away your account name and password?

Sorry I am not sure I understand you. Hacked in? You seem to be saying that you need to hack in to get to the login screen. If someone is at the point where they have access to your account because you left it logged into a machine. Then that is your own dumb fault for leaving it logged in. Would you leave your car unlocked and then act surprised if someone took the stereo? There is only so far you can take security before you have to step back and say "look you do something stupid and tough luck".

Spot the guy that has to deal with people going "I left my machine logged in and someone read my emails", or I left a disk on the table and now it isn't there.

That said I can't really see that much of a problem with how it works at present. It is only typing a password and hitting a button.

The only time I fought her I put my dark miasma -acc (can't remember the name at the moment) on her and stopped attacking till her "HAHA I WIN" power ran out. Then I kicked her all round the level. The god mode EBs really do suck the fun out of a mission.

My stone tanker thinks that they tickle. So he slams them in the head a few times to get them to stop.

Now that would be funny. Although what about missions full of Malta that spawn turrets and mixed in are sky raiders engineers? Since they can both spawn their pets while under heavy fire and DoT. That would be such a fun mission. Throw in some knives to throw down caltrops and the team will go down faster than the UK economy.

You can also throw them around with the gravity control powers. Loads of fun bouncing them off the ceiling while shouting "push me into longbow would you?"

I would like to add my voice to the remove the damn things crowd. They are top of my list of mission annoyances, but only just above go to the far end of IP tham come back. Next mission in the same door. Then back to the contact then back to IP then back to... AAAAARRGGGHHHHHHHHHH!

Or give the ability to slap the contacts very, very hard.

Just a quick suggestion. Can one of the contacts let slip to my AR/Dev where they get their auto turrets from? I would love to have one that I could deploy in 1 second while under fire, and lasts permanently even if I get killed.

So what you are saying is, in a field of pap rewards, it is above the rest? Personally I am not exactly rushing to get any of the vet rewards. I have not yet used a costume token or a respec from the vet rewards on any of my characters. I don't need them as they keep giving me more and more. One character has about 40 of the damn things(costume tokens).

Don't worry the ones on the US site work ok. I just parsed the UK page to get the server statii.

You see it swings both ways. You want to know what about some effort from your side? If someone flags up "looking for team" send the invite. If they are listed as "not looking for team" then they don't want a team. simple enough.
