    get your main build screwed, have a bunch of people who have never played it discuss it like they know what they are doing and see how you feel.

    the same build i have been talking about since my first post in this thread AR/DEV.

    You don't seem to be listening AR need a way to survive while their main damage dealing attacks are going off, while we are using flamethrower we get pounded and CAN NOT move. This needs to be addressed, FA you stand still for 6 seconds while they charge, you CAN NOT move.

    Something need to be done to mitigate the damage, SG, faster animations, firing on the run whatever need to get out of melee range, or have it so they hit you less. that is the problem tactics help somewhat, but only so far. when you can't move tactics go out the window doesn't it.

    and again this is a solo and multiplayer game, I would have to say 65% of my deaths were with a team so i enjoy soloing.

    when dev's say they are probably going to increase the number of hit points mobs have, and AR/DEV blasters are kinda in a bad way now. wouldn't you think that an increase in hit points would severely affect gameplay for blasters and any other AT. And when devs aren't saying what else will change, well for a game we all pay for to radically change seems a bit extreme don't you think.

    Also remember this a solo/and party game, so until i see the dev's say how they are going to address the differences, things can go worse or better. For me I have only seen worse for my main build, which I love the concept and design for.

    I think it is great that MA/SR got improved i think it is awesome, also i like the ideas being thrown around about tank damage...very cool.

    SG was "key" for AR dev, because our damage isn't a one shot FT and FA take alot of time to do there damage, we dont have aim nor build-up, which is awesome for an "alpha strike".
    SG was needed so we could suvive while our damage took effect. I am NOT saying put SG where it was, but I do think it needs to be about twice as good as now to be an effective survival tool. instead of a 10% base maybe a 15 or 20%.

  5. As someone stated earlier, blasters should have a control primary as there secondary (at 75% effectiveness as all others are), that would be fair and equitable and make sense with every other AT.
  6. But erratic I thought the point of this game was to make a build and not be useless, also respec doesn't let you change AT's or your primary or secondary power.

  7. You know it is just pointless in trying to explain something to someone who doesn't understand.

    So your methos is I need to start a new blaster build...no thanks I shouldn't have to.

    Pwer pools should not be required to a build, for AR/DEV and many other you need hasten 6 slotted, and stamina 6 slotted which required 2 prereqs. It is total BS that every build I have needs those 2 powers to be effective so 10 enhancement slots and 4 powers.

    It's BS and you know it, when greens and blues give me problems now, I do missions that means alot of freakshows for me. I get screwed.

    here is my build I am 28th lvl

    1. slug, web grenade
    2. burst
    4. caltrops
    6. hurdle
    8. hasten
    10. targeting drone
    12. sniper rifle
    14. super speed
    16. health
    18. flame thrower
    20. stamina
    22. cloaking device
    24. hover
    26. fly
    28. trip mine
    30. smoke grenade
    32. full auto
    35. time bomb
    38.

    there is not a single power there I do not use in every single battle. Still I get face planted by blues and whites, why you ask?

    my attack animations are too long, the mobs i have to fight for missions are highly resistant to lethal and smashing, and I have no way to mitgate that much damage. SG need to be twice as effective as it is now. Why not use weeb grenade and caltrops you ask well LT's can fly over them and often grenade just slows them a bit.

    I play an hour a night, most of that time is solo in a mission and even there my effectiveness kinda suck, I refuse to build another character as my main because well, i shouldn't have to. It's a damn super hero game, funny doesn't feel like one.

    Well if blasters are meant to stay out of melee, why do we have so damn many melee range attacks, I can name 10 right off the top of my head.

    energy has at least 4
    fire has 2, and flame breath is damn close range
    AR has buckshot, and flamethrower
    etc etc.

    I was fighting freakshow tanks last night, had one charging me so i hit slug, he is outta range but coming forward, slug activates and the tank is damn near on top of me now i kite just as he gets to melee, luckily i got away in time with SS.
    Now I was lucky, usually they get a swipe and remove 90% of my health.

    If blaster are meant to stay out of melee, give us more range with our attacks. Also as far as avoiding said groups well when you do missions like I do, and it say kill 30 freakshows in terra, my mob size choices are limited to groups that are 10 in size.
